Ultrasound- cysts and endo?

Hi, I’ve just had an ultrasound and the lady did it has told me I have 4 cysts (2 on each ovary) is this something normal to happen with endo please? And do they just leave them to settle or will it need further treatment she said one was pretty big? Sorry just a little worried caught me off guard as just went to have my coil position checked!!!

Hey- it really depends what kind of cysts they are. Some are normal and go away themselves-but others r endometriomas and can grow which cause pain.... . Are they referring you to someone else?

Hi I have been referred off to the gyno who I saw today as they fast tracked me due to my age I’m 25 and being unsure of what the cysts are she said because I have been diagnosed with endo it probably is that so she is now referring me to have an MRI to see if they are chocolate cysts?

An mri will let them know how severe the endo is and if it is anywhere else. That’s good . Hope it goes welx
