Worried about Libido and mood swings

I've been on the combined pill for years now and have noticed that I don't have much of a libidio. It appears when I take my weeks break but disappears again when I start taking the pill. I've tried a progesterone only pill before (a purple strip) and my mood swings were record breaking!! I was awful, so angry and flippant all of the time. I'm thinking about a copper coil as I bled through my entire time with the Injection and had a very odd bleed every time after intercourse with the implant..

I'm happy to try other pills but I'm worried about the mood swings and lack of libido. I have never suffered with headaches or acne, so I'm not too worried about this.

Can anyone give some some advice with the type of contraception they're using?

I think your choice of a copper IUD is a good one, its hormone free and lasts for 5-10 years, easily reversible, doesn't affect future fertility. Some GPs insert them in the UK or a reproductive health service
