Hi everyone new to the forum! I am in a lucky position of being PUPO for the first time! We had one failed round of IUI and have moved onto IVF. I had a freeze all round due to OHSS RISK. And we got ourselves 7 Frosties! ❄️ I had one of them transferred yesterday. Hopeful, anxious and keeping an open mind! xxx

Amazing how r u finding it? Our test day is the 8th of June! So 2 days after u. R u thinking of testing early? We are going on holiday for a week on Friday and leaving test at home! 🙈 xxx

I tested early last time (it was only a day 3 embryo) and all the early BFN messed with my head to the point that I didn’t even want to continue the meds until test day as I knew it had failed. This time I have agreed with the OH that we will wait until test day and all the pregnancy tests have been hidden from me!

I’m feeling ok but worrying that I’m not having any symptoms, praying for some implantation spotting or something over the next day or so to tell me my embryo is sticking.

I think it’s great if you can go away and leave your tests at home!

Yeah I think your right, I’ve had anxiety since starting the hormones anyway so the best thing I can do is just wait. I really have everything crossed for you that you get your dream! I know exactly how U feel at this time! Trying not to look for signs because they don’t always happen anyway! My nurse practitioner head tells me that anyway...my heart another! I Feel so guilty in a way as it’s lifestyle choice I’m doing this rather then infertility.

Because I’m in a gay relationship so no male factor! 🌈 👶🌈

No male factor for us either. We are using donor sperm but also having to use an egg donor as I have low AMH due to having an ovary removed years ago and my wife is 42 so they weren’t happy with her donating eggs to me.

They offered me IUI with DHEA and Clomid but I declined. IUI has awful success rates even in women with a much better AMH than me so we felt it was a waste of money. We went straight to double donor IVF.

It’s such a long process, and sounds like you’ve been through such a lot! we all deserve to be mummy’s to much wanted babies!
