Changes coming off agnus castus
Hi all. My husband and I have been ttc for 2 years this month. We have had 2 failed iui cycles. I stopped using agnus castus in the middle of my last cycle. My obgyn said it may help and after 1 year I decided it's not worth it as my periods were regular to start with... however, this month my cycle

Coil / ovarian cyst / endo and exercise
Hi guys. I had a question about exercise and endo. I had a laporoscpy last year to treat it, but the endo has come back again along with an ovarian cyst. I also had merina fitted a month ago which has been causing pain. However I am really feeling the effects on my mental health of not exercising and

Life is a Wonderful Thing
On the 15th October 2013 I kissed Jayne goodbye with the usual “see you later” and went off to my job - the Service Manager of the local BMW Dealer, the trade I’d been in since starting as an Apprentice Mechanic in 1980. Rewind to the Thursday, 2 weeks prior. I’d complained of a nagging headache and

Mirena coil?
Just wanting some advice/reassurance on the Mirena coil, I had it fitted 3 weeks ago, didn’t have much of a choice as doctors said they wouldn’t do a second laparoscopy without me trying the coil first. Also got prescribed naproxen to try and reduce the amount of codeine I’m taking (wayyyy to much for

I’m in more pain since being diagnosed and getting the coil fitted! Has anyone else had this or is it in my head!?
I first got my period when I was 12 and they have always been terrible, I told my mum and she told me it was all normal and periods are generally very painful and there is a lot of blood, but I always thought they were way too painful to be normal (In her defence I also thought my birth mark was cancer

Is it my copper coil or ibs
I had my copper coil fitted in March due my check up next week but obviously can’t do this. I have cramping pain in my lower abdomen. I don’t know if it is an issue with my coil or is an ibs flare up I can go days with no pain and then flares up ?

Adenomyosis
Hello ladies- hope you are all well and coping ok during this horrid period in time. I hope you don't mind me posting here...I'd posted on the adenomyosis page, but it's so quiet and I've had no response. I was wondering if you could describe your adeno pain (where, what it feels like), when you have

Can a hysterectomy really help with endometriosis pain?
Girls I’m at my wits end, I’ve had surgery after surgery, diagnosed at 22 and now 33, my endo has been relentless, excruciating and taken so much from me. I was incredibly lucky to get pregnant after having ivf after surgery in 2018 and my pregnancy was a utter dream, I had zero pain - it’s was amazing

Can't feel copper coil strings, what should I do?
I had the copper coil inserted on 9th march and can't feel the strings. I've also had continual bleeding/spotting and I'm due a period though it hasn't come. The doctor told me to feel for strings bit I can't feel them, do you think I should go back and am I at risk of getting pregnant?

How many contraceptive treatments did you have to be put through before getting a diagnoses?
Hi! So I am 19 and have had issues with extremely intense period cramps for 4 or so years now- I know I am young but unfortunately my periods were so heavy and painful I would not be able to move. As a result the doctors started me on the pill- I bled for 6 months straight on the first pill I took and

Symptoms, triggers, flare ups, pain relief...what are yours?
Hello ladies- hope you are all well and coping ok during this horrid period in time. I was wondering if you could describe your pain (where, what it feels like), when you have a flare up and what triggers it and any other symptoms you experience as a result of adenomyosis. Thought it might help to know

An account of a brain cell transplant
This stem cell transplant did not produce a cure but it is an interesting read to understand where the state of medicine is right now regarding a cure or at least a treatment for Parkinson's disease. https://www.statnews.com/2020/05/12/medical-first-parkinsons-brain-cell-transplant-stem-cells/

Mirena moved?
Hi all, hope everyone is coping as much as possible right now!! Does anyone have experience of their Mirena coil shifting into an odd position and causing constant cramps? Looking for reassurance and/or advice. I had a Mirena coil inserted on the 24th Feb and have been in near constant agony ever since

Night time pain post lap
Hi friends. I had a laparoscopy to remove endo and insert an IUD on the 9th. At night I am getting excruciating pain mostly on the right side, it doesn’t feel like regular cramps as it goes down my right leg into my thigh and knee. Almost lasts like 30-60 seconds, goes away for a min or so and comes

Copper IUD coil
I can’t seem to find my copper coil and I’ve been checking daily for about a week now. I can’t go to see my nurse because of all this vivid 19. I’ve been trying to not freak out but it’s always at the back of my mind. Any help on what u should do?

Has anyone experienced increased anxiety with Mirena coil?
Hi all, as the title says really. My emotions are all over the place. One minute ok, then very low and anxiety sky high. Hard to know if this is caused by my treatment being put on hold because of coronavirus or if it's hormonal with coil 🤔 I recently posted about passing some large clumps of grey bloody
