upcoming colonoscopy
hi. I’ve suffered from i b s for years and recently had some stool tests that indicated inflammation in my bowel. Ive been referred for a colonoscopy in June and I’m very anxious about it as somebody mentioned that your bowel could be perforated. Also nervous about the preparation which sounds horrible

Diaohrea
Does anyone else find that, post ivor Lewis, any ordinary illness also sets off diarrhea and gagging? I am 6 years down the line and have a nasty cold plus above. My tablet has 2 ways of spelling it. The only one I am sure of is runs! Am waiting for urgent endoscopy too as I have had terrible reflux

IBS after eating
Hi,I have been away on Holiday for the last 11 days , most of this on a cruise ship . I had one episode where IBS reared its head and I had a very urgent dash to a toilet , this occurred one afternoon.. Having said that , I also noticed this was a little different from flare ups and attacks when

Colon Cancer Symptoms
Any advice or experience would be appreciated. I am a 38 year old male. Since about 2020 I had terrible bowl problems, diarrhea multiple times a day, very inconsistent. So I assumed celiac (it didn’t always help), after 2 years the symptoms changed. I started getting very bloated after eating very little

Excessive pain
Hi everyone, an update about my health. I had my gall bladder removed just over a year ago, I am still experiencing a lot of pain from the incision. I only had keyhole surgery so it wasn't scar tissue. I eventually got an appointment with my new doctor. She was concerned and felt my abdomen and asked

Good morning all :)
A year down the line of having to give up work, I still struggle. I had to make a telephone call to my gas and elec company yesterday 2 and half hours later sorting the new meters out, it was so stressful I nearly cried during the call as I had to bend down to check the gas meter a number of times,

Just wanted to share my situation dealing with consequences of an adverse reaction to some pallative radiation treatment I received. I posted a while back that I had been diagnosed with radiation induced lumbar sacral paraplexy that had affected my left leg to the point of no longer being able to walk

Pressure in rectum
Hi. I was diagnosed with UC 21 years ago when I was 19. For the most part I have been ok, with a few bad flares over the years treated with steroids. Lately I have been flaring more, bloods always fine, never any blood in my stools, but always have mucus and low left sided pain. Last 2 calprotectin

Change In Long-Term IBS Symptoms. Any Suggestions?
Hello everyone, first post (M 43).. I have had IBS for 18 years, mainly suffering with constipation/incomplete bowel movements, occasional diarrhoea. I’ve been lucky in the sense that I’ve been able to control my symptoms for much of this time through diet/exercise etc. Over the last year however
