Need Alcohol gel wipes for Catherterisation
I catherterize once every week and often get an infection and need to use tablets to clear it. Does anyone know the best alcohol wipes to clean the penis before catheterizing so i can further reduce the risk of UTI occurring. I'm in the UK and use Amazon mostly. Many thanks.

How do you travel / fly overseas with the potential of hematuria and urine blockage resulting from radiation cystitis?
A few weeks ago I was in the emergency room at my local hospital because I could not urinate anything but a few blood clots. The pain was unbearable until they could catheterize me with the out being red urine and many large blood clots. The only trigger I could think of was straining for a difficult

I am 69 and my last PSA test was 1.8 came down from 4.9 4 months ago when I had a urinary retention episode after having missed 9 nights sleep with constipation problem. Something to concern myself with?
Hello all. In 2015 I had a cardiac catheterization as I was experiencing some chest pains that thankfully was totally clear, in fact the cardiologist said he'd have to get a microscope to find any plaque!! I was 62 then. But! What is playing on my mind is he put in the report there was some abnormality

Catheter discovery
I have been having intermittent urinary difficulty due to radiation cyctitis and as a result of an ER malpractice. I never know if I will be able to pee will be peeing blood and tissue clumps and or if there will be pain. At least I have been able to self catheterize reliably. That said I would prefer

Self-Catheterization - Any Thoughts?
I have had this bitch of a disease for over 16 years. I will turn ONLY 62 in January. I had a total hip replacement in late October. I was catheterized. It was removed too soon. At 3:00 a.m. the following morning I was catheterized, my bladder drained and the catheter removed. Since then, I have been

Low triiodothyronine levels correlate with high B-type natriuretic peptide levels in patients with heart failure
An association between low T3 and cardiac disorders. They appear to very responsibly avoid unwarranted conclusions - which came first? - but at least the question is being asked. [i] • Open Access • Published: 08 November 2021

Has anyone used Dr. Gary Onik (Dr. Hope)? Want opinions.
Hi everyone... as most of you know...I still look(and mostly feel) pretty great. BUT my PSA is just under 1000 and my last scans showed cancer in 97 % of my bones. So the picture is not pretty. (kinda reminds me of "The Picture of Dorian Gray". Everyone keeps telling how good I look and how I don't

Scleroderma and prolapse uterus
I was fitted with a pessary which meant I could at least walk etc, had to start
intermittent
self
catheterisation
and the Royal Free diagnosed SIBO and I have antibiotics for that. My question is this have any of you with Scleroderma had a prolapse operation?

Catheters?
My urologist thought that my recurring UTIs might be partly due to incomplete bladder voiding and recommended catheterizing twice a day to insure the bladder gets emptied regularly. I just scanned my bladder with a scanner I bought a while ago when I was having real difficult peeing and cathing. It showed

I said that I would report back after another catheterization. I just inserted a catheter and it went in as if there were virtually no obstruction. Unless it is just expectation and that I can some how control my sphincter which I haven't been able to in over a year, probably two. Getting ready for

Stricture 'pops' when Catheterising.
I do a two week catheterise for a stricture I have post TURP (2019). Last time I did it there was some resistance to the Catheter going in and when I eased it past there was a pop sensation as it broke through. No blood though (not like when I had a bladder inspection when the scope broke the stricture

Ductal PCA - Avoid T.U.R.P. and Self Cath
I have serious pissing problems with this cancer and after DX last fall, a TURP was done in December. From that sample, pathology determined this beast to be a Ductal PCA, a very aggressive cancer. Pissing problems returned in March, and the answer was to perform another TURP. Radiation Doc

is PVI ablation for AF only.??
Hi all. Does anyone know if a PVI ablation procedure treats atrial fibrillation only.? I see there is a procedure using catheterisation to treat ectopics too. I’m wondering wether if my 3 PVI ablation procedures Iv had in the past would in any way protect me from any ectopics progressing into afib

Mirabegron, huge improvement in bladder issues for me!
I can happily say it's changed my life! Prior to taking it I was having accidents in bed once or twice a month. I was often suffering urgency, wearing a small pad as a safety net just in case. I was constantly worried about needing the toilet urgently. I was catheterising before bed, up to a couple of
