I can happily say it's changed my life! Prior to taking it I was having accidents in bed once or twice a month. I was often suffering urgency, wearing a small pad as a safety net just in case. I was constantly worried about needing the toilet urgently. I was catheterising before bed, up to a couple of times during the night and again in the morning.
Now I don't really pee normally anymore but I catheterise on a morning, 4pm and at bed time. I don't suffer from urgency or have any accidents at all. I no longer wear a pad.
The only time my routine changes is on a drinking night out. I catheterise more frequently.
If you've never tried it and have bladder issues I highly recommend giving it a go.

I am very pleased that you have found Mirabegron. I too have been using it for perhaps ten years. The key thing is that it enables your bladder to hold more urine. I have found that this capacity is often 400 - 500 ml.
I have also been using the Convene urinary sheaths and a leg bag for years as well. This copes with the situation where, despite self-catheterisation and Mirabegron, the bladder still leaks when it gets full. I have solved this problem for nighttime, by using a leg bag in bed. Once you perfect the technique, it doesn't leak in bed.
So glad you’re having a good response to the medicine! I am in a looooong process of trying to get my insurance to cover it. Samples used for a month showed me it helps me too! But I can’t get more samples and insurance is insisting they see proof, from pharmacy records frkm a decade ago!) that I purchased and tried all the other meds (which don’t help and have intolerable side effects for me). I’m starting over with trials of meds I know don’t work just so I might be able to get it approved in another year. Mirabegron even helps me more than botox injections.
