It Might be Mitochondria
There is some interesting research here that suggests mitochondria rather than glucose or insulin levels may drive inflammation particularly in Type II Diabetes: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2019/08/190821082238.htm

No more eye injections with an implantable pump!
Coming soon! No more eye injections! My retinal specialist told me a Mini Drug Pump for Ophthalmic Use is going to be approved for Lucentis. (Like an insulin pump device) I'm not sure if Eylea will be offered as well. He said it should be available in a year or so. Has anyone else heard of this? I

Dr. FORD Brewer
So, the above mentioned doctor is an American cardiologist who has now for many years specialised in preventative medicine. He posts videos on line and after watching a few I think I agree with him that the main cause of ischmaetic coronary heart disease is inflammation in the artery which causes damage

Insulin cooling devices
Hi all, I see there are two type of insulin cooling devices. One with the added water and the other is battery driven. My first question is, are these devices reliable? Also, is there any device that is approved by FDA? Thanks

Please help with my test results, esp the Reverse T3 ratio
Hello, This is the first time I've had the full thyroid tests offered by Blue Horizons Medicals. I know I have Hashimoto's and have been gluten free since 2015, and also last December cut out cow dairy, yeast, egg and brazil nuts following test results from Medichecks which show I'm producing antibodies

Hey y’all. I am new to the forum but not to diabetes. I am 54 years old and have had diabetes since I was eight years old. So of course I am insulin dependent and always will be. I have had issues with my blood pressure on and off. It’s pretty good. But I have CKD stage III and they want it tighter

28 Gauge needle for Trimix?
Hi, What gauge of needle is the best for Trimix? I use 31 gauge for my insulin , but I hear that 28 gauge is the best for Trimix - is that right? I know that using trimix is different from injecting insulin - but isn''t 28 gauge a thicker needle and more painful to use? - First time Trimix user
