Biohackers making open source insulin to reduce cost
This may have been posted already so sorry if I missed it and I’m duplicating. Slightly off topic in that this applies to insulin and diabetes but the principle is very interesting and I’m sure could be applied to T3/NDT. The article explains in a bit more detail but the brief version in that biohackers

Effect of Mannitol on the Microbiome
I'm still on the fence about taking Mannitol so I Googled "mannitol microbiome" and found this: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6363527/ Effects of nutritive LCSs on the gut microbiota Polyols Polyols are a specific group of compounds used as food additives. PD for a Type II Diabetic
Does PD work if you are a type II diabetic? I understand that the fluid that you fill your abdominal cavity with is a sugar-based solution. Does that mean it has an effect on your blood sugar levels? I'm diabetic but only use an oral medication right now and do not require insulin shots. I'm just concerned

Healthy breakfast
Filled me up and gave me energy after an extended fast, did not significantly raise glucose or insulin, cooked in butter so high in natural fats and delicious. What more could you (well, me at least) want?

My pharacy screwed up my script for the last time. In April because they are a bunch of incompentents I went 17 days w/o insulin even though they kept calling me asking when I was going to pick up my meds. I would get there & no meds for me. Grrr! And again in May. 14 days w/o insulin for the same

This particular probiotic bacterial species appears to be the best. But most

Amazing 104 year old diet book
Diabetic Cookery by Rebecca Oppenheimer 5 years before insulin, she already knew what we are just relearning now! Lots of almond flour (well, blanched and pounded almonds) and aleuronat flour, which seems to be vital wheat gluten. https://archive.org/details/diabeticcookeryr00oppeiala/page/13/mode

Type 2 diabetes medication shown to benefit asthma patients.
Type 2 diabetes patients who also have asthma are benefitting from a diabetes medication, typically given to help the pancreas produce more insulin, that also improves asthma symptoms and may reduce lung and airway inflammation. These types of medication — GLP-1 receptor agonists — are a newer class

Does Firmagon injection scar tissue go away? How long does it take?
After about 8 months of Firmagon monthly injections in my belly area, I switched 3 months ago to Lupron injections in my “love handles.” I switched to preserve remaining belly sites not made lumpy by Firmagon for my insulin pump ports—insulin injection plus Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM).
