I am trying to find out some information for my brother in law who is 64 lives on his own and struggles with quite a few things that most of us do in everyday life.. I am trying to find out if he is entitled to any benefits or help, that will make his life easier to cope with as he gets older..
the normal everyday things he struggles with are communicating with people in general, organising his money (he in on benefits) like paying his bills putting money aside to last him to his next payment (which is 2 weekly) , personal hygiene well cleanliness in any form his little 1 bed bungalow is ideal for him but its disgustingly filthy smells and is full of rubbish, He get very angry quickly and has been know to lash out both physically and verbally on occasions.. (he has had anger management course) that's a few things he struggles with,, he also has diabetes and just starting to inject insulin, also astma.. not sure if any of this would be classed a disability. but he could do with a bit help in any way shape or form.. both financially..even a bus pass would help him as he still likes to be independent but can't afford to do things. if anyone know where we could start to try and find some help for him we would be very grateful..
i hope this is the right place to ask this info..
if not please delete thank you
