Just been diagnosed - scared and v depressed
I don't want to live like this, always struggling to breath, and constantly on my
inhalers
. I am / try to be/ as physically active as possible and love travelling but I just see the years ahead as being ones of existing rather than living.

I am hypothyroid and on Levothyroxine. I have always suffered with catarrh as long as I can remember , having to clear my throat. I also have a small goitre . In recent months it has got a lot worse to the point I am wheezing now and trying to catch my breath, also feels like I cannot cough up and sometimes

Is Trimbow ok for Bronchiectasis
Hi,I've been on salbutamol and anora elipta powder
inhalers
for a few years, but my bronchiectasis is getting worse. I also have mild COPD. The respiratory consultant i saw in 2014 said my bronchiectasis was likely caused by having reflux since my 20s. I'm in my 50s now.

Taste
Hello, Have recently gone back onto a combination inhaler, Symbicort 100/3, and find that whenever I take it I get an unpleasent aftertaste in my mouth. This occurs even with using an Aerochamber and washing my mouth out afterwards. Anybody have a similar experience or have some advice? Many thanks

RTI and blood oxygen levels
Yesterday I went to see a gp , since Friday I’ve had an awful productive cough, been needing to use my inhaler to relieve my symptoms, I’m on antibiotics for 10 days as I have a respiratory tract infection . If I’ve felt a bit more unwell I’ve checked my blood oxygen and itt drops to 93 at times but

First Post. Uniquie Symptoms?
I have read now for 2 years and 3 months. At first I could barely follow. I wanted to thank you all. A heartfelt thank you. The information has been critical in my journey. It also helps to know that I am not alone in being abused by those in the medical field. A hematologist said to me. "Well

I’m so confused! What do my results mean.
This was my first test, I never thought of myself having problems with breathing ever to be honest. I was in for allergy results and he listened to me and didn’t like it. I did a spirometer test and I struggled so bad. Now that it’s been brought to my attention I feel the chest tightness on deep breathes

Asthma cough
Started on Dupilimab a month ago.For the last ten days I have been coughing a lot - even when lying down. Been a bit snotty so I assumed it was rhinitis again - I have sterimar and neilmed sinus rinses. Ears feel " full" as well. A deep breath is enough to bring on a cough - even using my inhaler brings

The joy of the unclear diagnosis 😂
For the past few years my regimen has been as follows:
INHALERS
Seretide 125/25 (could probably reduce to 50/25 to be honest, the long acting beta agonist has been the most useful bit of this) Atrovent inhaler TABLETS NACSYS 600 OTHER Hypertonic saline nasal spray Hypertonic saline nebuliser

Confused
I am recently diagnosed with COPD after a spirometry test nearly 3 months ago. I have not been told exactly which condition I have as I know many of you have in this forum. I have an inhaler I use every morning and am currently on meds as I have some chest congestion. I have not seen a consultant,

bronchietasis
the only help I have is Incruse Ellipta inhaler. I do not cough up much phlegm , I also suffer from asthma and Emphysema. I have low energy levels, is this normal ?, also breathlessness even just sitting down, and a heaviness in the chest. Walking can be difficult, I have to take it slow, not what I

Side effects of coming off itraconazole?
She had to change her
inhalers
when she went on to the itraconazole tablets and so far has been OK asthma wise though we do know that she may have an exacerbation of her asthma and have to change again.

Fostair - prescription every 30 days
my fostair prescriptions have never been a problem before. However, yesterday I found out that my latest request is approved, but on hold until the 8 February. Seems I can now only have them every 30 days. 120/4 does equal 30. However, as is often discussed here, the dosage is affected as the inhaler

Anyone else had problems with Salamol CFC-Free MDI Inhaler 100mcg
I was given this in place of ventolin. From the start, it seemed like a ventolin inhalor when it's blocked (slow and sluggish to spray) two weeks in and hardly used it just stopped working at all. My doctors surgery have said ventolin is no longer available on the nhs and have now prescribed me airomir
