Started on Dupilimab a month ago.For the last ten days I have been coughing a lot - even when lying down. Been a bit snotty so I assumed it was rhinitis again - I have sterimar and neilmed sinus rinses. Ears feel " full" as well.
A deep breath is enough to bring on a cough - even using my inhaler brings on a cough.
I never had an asthma cough - just a wheeze. I was ill for six weeks over christmas - one of these seasonal flu then covid. Now the cough appears to be regular.

My pulmonologist recently tried to switch me from Omalizumab to Dupilimab and I had a terrible reaction to it and had to stop after just a month. I was super short of breath and miserable until it left my system--it took about six weeks then I bounced back. I wasn't coughing but the breathlessness was so bad that at one point I tried to slowly walk just a kilometer or so beside a lake with my son in a stroller but was so out of breath that we had to go back home.
I'm back on Omalizumab and feeling much better. Not sure if you're having the same experience as me but I just wanted to let you know that some people do have trouble breathing as a side effect to the med (I posted about it in my biologic and asthma groups on Facebook and chatted with a few other people who'd had the same reaction).
The coughs this winter, even in healthy people,r lingering for weeks.if yr snotty,it does sound like a cold/virus.no wonder yr airways r irritated on top of flu+ covid
