Infliximab and weight gain
I have been on this drug for 10 weeks now and have gained about half a stone but have gained several inches all around the middle. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed if this gradually disappears - obviously with some effort - or if it just gets worse?

Infliximab into tissue not vein
So I had my
infliximab
infusion yesterday and it took 4 attempts to get the line in, 1 hour into my treatment my arm became real sore and I noticed that around the infusion site was really read.

Partner with Crohn's due for Right hemicolectomy, any advice for recovery etc?
He has since been on
Infliximab
infusions and Azathioprine but he has been out of remission for the last year and now suffers with bowel stricture and lots of scar tissue: He is due to have a Right hemicolectomy next week as the stricture is getting worse and worse.

Inflamed muscles feel like tough meat...
When I started Remicade/
Infliximab
infusions a little over a year ago, my muscles became, for the first time in a VERY long time, more fluid...somewhat NORMAL feeling. The pain was still there, but I could feel a difference in the TEXTURE of my muscles.

Feeling trapped behind Behcet's
The best way I was recently able to describe how I feel is 'spiritually broken'- I don't feel particularly depressed nor am I currently experiencing any dehabilitating symptoms (
Infliximab
seems to be doing the trick for now!).

For Remicade/Infliximab Patientâs...
I receive Remicade/
Infliximab
infusions for Psoriatic Arthritis and Psoriatic Spondylitis. I was wondering how often everyone receives their infusions, how long the effects last (before your pain noticeably resurfaces) and what the side effects are that you get and how long they last.

Ustekinumab, Crohnâs
I suffer with Crohnâs disease and recently been having symptoms etc so doctor changed my medication from
infliximab
to Ustekinumab. So had my first dose of Ustekinumab on Friday the 5th of October. And ever since Iâve been suffering with lower back pain, nausea and stomach pain.

Tocilizumab Injections
Iâve recently switched to Tocilizumab injections after 14 years on
Infliximab
infusions. Iâve only had four injections but have yet to see any positive results, in fact after being fairly well controlled I feel my RA is getting worse by the day.

Peripheral spondiloarthropathy
beginning of the year triggered by a severe strep infection and fortunately my GP was great and recognised an rheumatoid-like condition rather quickly after discarding gout and RA (I had dactilytis and enthentithitis in my left foot originally) After all possible oral treatments I eventually moved on to

Newbie needs help
I'm on
Infliximab
to treat crohns so assumed it was related to that and an ecg has shown them but nothing to worry about. However today I had incredible chest pain behind my left boob, lasting about 10 mins and shooting type pain in my shoulder and down my arm.
