Hashimotos and thin
Hi, I am new and I have just been diagnosed with Hashimotos. My TSH is 20.4 MIU/L (0.2 - 4.2), Free T4 is 10.2 PMOL/L (12 - 22) and my TPO ANTIBODY is 801 KIU/L (<34). I have been losing a lot of weight and I have anaemia of both iron and folate. Will the weight loss improve on the levo. I take 75mcg

Hi I changed back to levothyroxine from W.P. Thyroid last October, presently taking 125mcg. levo. I did not find very much improvement on W.P. and as there started to problems with getting it I decided to try levo. again with the view of possibly adding T3. I had my thyroid levels checked seven weeks

Red Itchy Eye after Vitamin B12 shot
I took a Vitamin B12 shot on wednesday 7.2.18, and today I have my one eye turned red and itchy. Is this anything related to Vitamin B12 shot? Does anyone of you know some obvious side effects of the Vitamin B12 shot? Thanks for any help in advance :)

Low Iron Levels
Hello. I have a treated case of Pernicious Anaemia. (Having injections for c. 2 years. I am 38). I have just been tested for iron which was found to be very low (8?) Along with a range of other things (haemoglobin, liver function, red/white blood cells and more...) which were all fine. Wish I'd asked

At the haematologist appointment today
Hi, I had an appointment to the haematologist today and she said that doesn't think it is B12 deficiency as my levels are normal 233 (191-663) and even I tested positive for Gastric parietal cell antibodies does not show a deficiency and she will write a letter to my GP to stop the 3 months injections

Advice please
I was diagnosed with underactive thyroid about eight months ago, being positive for Anti-TPO antibodies. I was prescribed 25mcg Levothyroxine which was upped to 50mcg Levothyroxine after a couple of months. I've just had another blood test and asked to be tested for vitamins/iron etc as suggested

Advise about B12 & Folate please! :-)
Hi Guys I have recently been diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease and have discovered through the amazing advice of the members on Thyroid UK that I am severely deficient in vitamin D. I have now been prescribed a loading dose so this is getting sorted. In terms of my vitamin B12/ferritin/folate levels

Where to source iron injections?
So my iron (ferritin) levels are below range, and I'm looking to get them back up quickly via iron injections as I'm using vit c + iron without much luck (I suspect I'm not absorbing it too well). I've looked at iron infusions in the UK, and they cost too much (£700 per infusion). There was a member
