At the haematologist appointment today
Hi, I had an appointment to the haematologist today and she said that doesn't think it is B12 deficiency as my levels are normal 233 (191-663) and even I tested positive for Gastric parietal cell antibodies does not show a deficiency and she will write a letter to my GP to stop the 3 months injections

Advice please
I was diagnosed with underactive thyroid about eight months ago, being positive for Anti-TPO antibodies. I was prescribed 25mcg Levothyroxine which was upped to 50mcg Levothyroxine after a couple of months. I've just had another blood test and asked to be tested for vitamins/iron etc as suggested

Advise about B12 & Folate please! :-)
Hi Guys I have recently been diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease and have discovered through the amazing advice of the members on Thyroid UK that I am severely deficient in vitamin D. I have now been prescribed a loading dose so this is getting sorted. In terms of my vitamin B12/ferritin/folate levels

Where to source iron injections?
So my iron (ferritin) levels are below range, and I'm looking to get them back up quickly via iron injections as I'm using vit c + iron without much luck (I suspect I'm not absorbing it too well). I've looked at iron infusions in the UK, and they cost too much (£700 per infusion). There was a member

Strange B12 Ranges
Can anyone shed any light on why when I had my last tests done for B12, it said: B12 124.9 pmol/L (25.00 - 165) Surely this range is inaccurate?
