The role of vitamin B -12 in Thyroid health
To encourage both to be at their best, special attention need to be paid to thyroid gland health and vitamin B-12 intake. A sluggish thyroid, or hypothyroidism may cause you to be deficient in vitamin B-12, and the resulting vitamin B-12 deficiency can further exacerbate the slow thyroid or negatively

Help with b12 and folate levels
This is my first time on this forum, I have hashimotos and PBC and recently my b12 and folate levels are not good and I’m wondering what could be the symptoms as with having hashimotos it’s hard to tell the difference. My symptoms main ones are poor sleep! Lack of motivation and energy and night sweats

Road to recovery
Hi All, I've been low on iron and B12 due to a vegan-ish diet for the past few years - I guess you can say I was somewhat malnourished. I've been suffering from adult acne for the past 8 years on my scalp and face. When I started to take b12/iron/folate I was improving very well without too many issues

Taking more B12 to alleviate symptoms, and less folic acid. Please help.
Ive heard taking folic acid masks symptoms of b12 deficiency? Taking 4 mg? 4000 mcg? Of folic acid. Took another b12 and feel better. So, 25 000 mcg altogether. This is before I took my calcium, iron, vitamin C. Also ovulating/ menstruating. So still not struggling as much as i cld. So doing a bit better

Flecainide has anyone else had good results with this medication for AFIB?
I also take
Inderal
for AFIB. I was in the hospital the past two weekends, terrified out of my wits. My doctors are hoping the Flecainide will help me. They are starting me out on low doses. So far so good. Has anybody else had good results with this medication. Sincerely, Chayah

Vitamin D - different tests- how to compare?
Can anyone tell me if my vitamin D levels have changed? The doctor ordered a different test to the one before so I cannot compare. I'm trying to figure out why I feel so tired and anxious. Results for April 27, 2018: VITAMIN D, 1,25 (OH)2, (18-72 pg/mL) 49 VITAMIN D3, 1,25 (OH)2

Low Ferritin High Serum Iron
Hi all. I've been trying to get my ferritin levels up, but I've hit a snag. Latest ferritin level is still only 41 but serum iron is 202 — too high. So I've stopped all iron supplementation, but find that even eating meat now results in flares of joint pain. I'm wondering what's preventing the iron from
