Vitamin advice
I know from here that multi vitamins are generally no good I wondered what the experts think to these Alive woman’s energy vitamins please? I currently take vitamins D, K, C, magnesium and selenium, but wouldn’t mind trying something for an extra energy boost! In addition to the photo, they also contain

How low do you go before your next injection?
Has anyone had their B12 retested just before their next injection is due to see how low their B12 levels have dropped? If so, what was your level?

Platelet count high and B12 deficiency
One of the main reason of high platelet high count is B12 deficiency and if it's not treated by taking B12 specially injection can cause heart attack due to blood clot. There is also a link between vitamin d deficiency and high platelet count. High platelet count also can be alarming for some cancers

Its all about the Iron. Do I go on taking Iron Fumerate?
So it is almost exactly a year since I first got the diagnosis of RLS, having suffered for many years with the symptoms. I share the track of the year to add the growing amount of information for us all. In the past year I have stopped drinking alcohol, drink no caffeinated tea, one cup of coffee in

Advice on Iron Supplements Please
My GP has agreed that I should have a blood test to check my iron levels but in the meantime has suggested that I should take an iron supplement 2-3 times a day. Based on previous advice seen on this forum, this seems excessive so I am thinking that I will just take gentle iron once a day as shown on

Time for Yet Another Paradigm Shift
Maybe we need to pass on the Vitamin C. Clinical trial showed no increased absorption https://www.verywellhealth.com/vitamin-c-iron-supplement-study-5087131 The above trial only tested with pure vitamin C. Substances like orange juice and other fruit juices are rich in polyphenols which can decrease

A B12 Research Paper that the British B12 deficiency sufferers might find interesting.
While I was googling this morning I found this article/study? To be honest, I didn't read the whole thing. It is titled: A patient and public involvement workshop using visual art and priority setting to provide patients with a voice to describe quality and safety concerns: Vitamin B12 deficiency and

Ropinirole/B12
Hi I take 2 x 0.25 ropinirole at night, my GP last week suggested I increase to 3 then 4, I asked if there was any link to B12. I had been on B12 injections for a number of years then put on B12 tablets and then at the start of the pandemic I got a text saying I no longer needed B12. Since I’ve stopped

B12 Micro Needle Patch?
I read an article about development of a patch delivery for vaccines. Because I had nothing else to do, I sent and email to one of the companies developing this technology. Here is what I wrote: I just read about your vaccine patch products. I was wondering if patches could be used for medical issues

Natural remedies and food supplements
This is mainly a personal view of the usefulness of these for RLS, but is based on some reading. I hope it is a balanced view. Hopefully it offers some guidance for when you're choosing remedies. The 3 main things you should find out about when choosing a remedy. 1) EFFECTIVENESS : does it actually

B12, pregnancy and autism risk
Hello I'm currently treated with b12 injections every two months and have been taking a bcomplex vitamin almost daily for the last year or so on top. This has allowed me to manage some fairly unpredictable digestive issues which thankfully now seem to be under control and may even be down to b6 not b12
