Can anyone confirm my understanding please? I can't take fostair, it gave me awful palpitations, tremors and excess mucus to the point I felt like I was drowning when I lay down so it was quickly stopped. I saw a respiratory consultant recently and as most other inhalers have already been tried he suggested

Triple fixed-dose regimens of an inhaled glucocorticoid, a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA), and a long-acting β2-agonist (LABA) for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) have been studied at single dose levels of inhaled glucocorticoid, but studies at two dose levels are lacking. Glycopyrrolate or Atropine?
I found this article because I noticed my husbands salivary secretions are still quite heavy using the newly prescribed drug, Atropine .... I discovered Glycopyrrolate's efficacy as compared to Atropine and will go back to the original prescription in 4 hours (though Atropine has a half life of 2

Anybody out there using INDACATEROL ? How are you doing on it ?
After starting to use seretide 500 recently twice a day, my GP has told me to stop using my indacaterol (300mg). I still take my Spiriva once a day. I was against using the seretide because of the steroids, but my Oxygen has dropped to 88 resting over the last 2 months, so I thought I might give it a

I have hyperthyroidism - since Oct 2013. I also have Hyperhidrosis of the head for which I use Glycopyrronium Bromide on my face and throat.
Can I continue to use the Hyperhidrosis cream which I have used to control the sweating for many years? Could this be contributing to the hyperthyroidism? I have seen one comment on-line but it didn't indicate what the conflict between the hyperthyroidism and using the cream might be.

New drug trial
Novartis International AG ( NVS ) said the 64-week SPARK study results demonstrated that investigational once-daily dual bronchodilator QVA149 was more effective at reducing all chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or COPD exacerbations, compared with glycopyrronium 50 mcg and open-label or OL tiotropium

Indacaterol (onbrez) inhaler
Has anybody started using the onbrez inhaler instead of Spiriva Respimat? I seem to have had a rather bad reaction to Respimat and have been looking at what could take its place. And this seems the best to ask the doctor for. Sometimes I like to do my own own research and be my doctor.
