Glycopyrrolate is working for spit, phlegm and coughing

4 years in and hubby has had bad coughing from the start. He recently had a swallow function test and passed with flying colors. no food or liquid going near the airway. He has always maintained that it was spit and phlegm build up that was causing the coughing and in the morning his CPAP mask would have a large amount of spit. Told his neurologist that the coughing and choking was terrible so he prescribed glycopyrrolate. We are now in the 3rd day taking it and what a difference!!!! Still coughs now and then but not the loud choking cough. And the CPAP mask is empty of spit!! I was concerned about side effects but so far none. Just wanted to share in case it can help someone else.
