Oh dear, it's unsettling isn't it. I don't have any of those although recently my Seretide was changed to sirdupla. I wasn't pleased and I've not started the new one yet. My first port of call was to speak to the pharmacist to ask what's the difference and why change it. He said to give it a try and if I didn't like it to ask the GP to go back on Seretide

That hasn't helped you at all!

Hopefully someone will be along soon who knows about your new meds.

Thanks D, same here about paying for downloads so I'll try for the free one.

Your eye op get nearer & nearer, too slowly for you I'm sure. P

I changed in June to Ellipta Relvar and Ellipta Incruse, both of which are part of the new range of combination inhalers. Easy to use and store and both just one shot a day with a clear counter of amount of shots left.. 30 shots per inhaler.

At the beginning of the year I was hospitalised twice with severe exacerbations, but since changing to the Ellipta inhalers no sign of an exacerbation.

The only concern is that being a new product some staff including senior nurses and doctors are not prescribing properly from the range, however because you were prescribed at the respiratory clinic i am sure that your prescription is correct.

Respiratory nurses are specialists and the best people to prescribe such medication

Do not worry, I am sure you will feel the benefit although it can take a few weeks because these are slow acting medications.

Is the Glycopyrronium bromide the Seebri Breezhaler Bless? This is the inhaler I take....It's cheap apparently however has good reviews.I had to go back to GP as this alone wasn't doing it for me & he prescribed Seretide to take along with it .Sometimes I have problems with the spikes not bursting the capsule, it does say don't press again but I always do if it hasn't worked. It's not something you can take in public really as it makes a noise (when it's working correctly) so I take it at 5 pm, with approx. 6 hours each way of my Seretide.....Hope the combination the consultant has given you works well. I've just goneinto moderate, FEV 78
