Another question Can I take mebeverine and buscopan before a colonoscopy? It says on letter to stop taking Imodium, codeine phosphate & lomotil 5 days before but doesn’t mention mebeverine and buscopan!

Loperamide has not worked for me at all but my problems have been episodic, not chronic. Lomotil stops it dead in less than a day but is, of course, and opiate requiring a prescription in the US.

Hi-- first time poster here. I have been metastatic for 8 years and am currently on Verzenio. The onc already reduced the dose but I'm still having a horrible time with diarrhea, even with taking 6 lomotil daily. Would like to hear from others with similar experiences and how you've handled the problem

For couple weeks I am very tired and bad headache. Even in my throat is ticklish and coughing some times I have no temperature. This drug is back on the market but it is now made by Mercury Pharmaceutical and it is under the generic name of Co/ Phenotrope it is exactly the same as the brand name lomotil my phone does not recognise the name so its saying it's wrong it is definitely right.

I had 2/3 of my large instestine removed due to cancer. I have had chronic diarreaha ever since. Lost 40 pounds in a few months. I take Cholestyramine, lomotil and sometimes opium tincture. Does anyone have any suggestions on something else I could try please. Thank you so much
