Influenza A while on W & W,-- the price for not wanting a vaccine
I decided to put my pride and lack of articulate writing skills aside to share a my learning experience . It was in Jan of 23 when I was told over the phone of my CLL Dx. I walked around in a panicky daze. First I went to Mr Google. (BIG MISTAKE !) I started clearing out the house and giving things

A Bizarre Complication of Levothyroxine Therapy
Immunoglobulin
E (IgE) was 102.2 U/mL (N: 0–378). Besides IgE, antinuclear antibody (ANA), C3, and C4 were done, these were normal. Anti-C1q antibody testing was also negative.

Taking a big risk - 2 years in
I’ve posted before about my difficult experience with Ocrevus the last 2 years I was on it. I wanted to give you all an update in case it helps someone else. My last infusion was Dec. 2021. I’m currently not taking a DMT hence the title of this post. My neuro is part of a large MS research group and

Low Immunoglobulins A and G
At what low levels of A and G should I consider infusions? Went thru B&R 13 months ago and levels are not quite in the normal range(L), although "M" is slightly into the norm. I've heard about Hizentra but have not yet been totally on board with beginning. Any advice ?

Going to the gym
Not sure but, I think this is pertinent to this forum. Had two years of BTKi treatment. Beeen off of treatment for 18 months, doing ok. Immunoglobulins are low but IGG higher than usual on last blood draw. Usually IGG low 400, now 530. Realize I am still immune suppressed. Realize this is a question

low immunoglobulins and knee replacement
I’m contemplating total knee replacement. My concern is that my immunoglobulins have sunk below normal range - but not low enough to start infusions. Has anyone else had to consider this? What recommendations were made to you? Did you go ahead with surgery? Did you have complications? So much to think

CLL consultation
It is a year ago since I posted to this wonderful site. I do look every day, sometimes for two minutes, sometimes for 20 minutes. The warmth, support and information is always uplifting. I have been watch and wait for 5 years now. I am 13q deleted, and mutated. CD38 negative. I am now 75. I am in Hampshire

Transplant and BKV Realities
One possible treatment involving
immunoglobulin
(blood) is being studied (somewhat), but it relies on blood donated by thousands of people, and it is something I am not comfortable with in this current climate.

Getting there, but slowly
More blood tests back now but still don't have all the figures. Serum immunoglobulins all normal Coeliac screen - negative Ferritin 197 (range 13-150) Transferrin saturation 38% (15-45) He's not happy about this even though it's "normal" Homocysteine - normal IFA - still negative Gastric parietal antibodies

Another CLL ‘wobble’, seems like I’m ‘losing it’ slightly.
Hi all, and once more I am looking for information from the vast well of expertise which is out there. Recently I ‘wobbled’ about being in subset 6. The thing that precipitated my regrettable ‘wobble’ and erroneous ‘consultation’ with Dr Google & Dr ChatGPT was the fact that I was reviewing my CLL position

Advice please - blood test results & supplements
Immunoglobulin
A - 2.47 g/L (0.8- 2.8)
Immunoglobulin
G 10.26 g/L (5.4 - 16.1)
Immunoglobulin
M 2.08 g/L (0.5-1.9) For M it says ‘above high reference limit’ but I can’t seem to find if that means I have celiac or it is just another autoimmune marker. Thanks for reading x

Immune suppression caused by Urso
Hi all, I only recently learned that Urso has suppressive effects on the immune system. One research paper I read, and there are others, lists the effects - apologies for scientific jargon! Urso suppresses the production of immunoglobulins IgA, IgG and IgM (although IgM is generally chronically raised

Blood results help please
After my recent GP visit and waiting for several months, I finally have my blood results. It wasn't an easy one though. After a terrible GP apt where I was constantly interrupted and made feel like I'm wasting her time, where she has told me that all hypothyroidism is Hashimotos and refusing to check
