Can Biased Beliefs Play a Positive Role in Some Circumstances?
A mother who comes, with only a stick, to the rescue of her child being attacked by a mountain-lion may be willing to believe sheāll drive the animal away even if objectively the odds are not in her favor. She draws her strength from her biased belief. So, depending on circumstances and what is at

Brain lesion
anybody here who experienced brain lesions that might be from PCa? Current PSA is 0.025. Itās just confusing that after ADT works to remove all the symptoms including bone pain from bone mets, my dad was diagnosed with brain lesion after an MRI since he had mild stroke symptoms(slurred speech). Does

cardioversion within 3 weeks of ablation?
Despite playing by the book and doing everything I could, Iāve been back in persistent AFib for 4 days since my ablation two and a half weeks ago. The arrhythmia team had me in for an ECT today and are arranging an appointment for a cardioversion possibly this Saturday. Just wondering if anyone else

My PSA tripled in 8 months
I had my RP in Jan 31, 2023, started hormonal therapy from April 17 with Diphereline every 28 days plus one Casodex daily. My PSA went down to 0.005 from May to November. Yesterday I had my blood test again and the report indicated my PSA has jumped to 0.159. I am panic. Can you explain what does

Welcome to Stage Denial
Greetings, fellow warriors fighting prostate cancer. Mababa here, with a funny-sounding username that's a joining of my first name initial with the last part of the name of the city where I was born: Addis Ababa, seventy-one years and six months ago. Actually, I'm not quite in the fight yet, so I can't

prostrap injections
Hi All, thank you for the add- I am new here. I have ademomyosis, fibroids and also possibly endometriosis. I am listed for a total hysterectomy but start (thursday!) prostrap injections to see how I would cope with no ovaries (with add back HRT) and to check the effect on my terrible ovulation symptoms

Do your mental struggles show something wonderful about you?
As many know, I am a big advocate of Dr David Burns' work. He wrote "Feeling Great" and does the "Feeling Good" podcast. He developed TEAM CBT which is Testing, Empathy, Agenda-setting, Methods Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He uses a hypothetical situation and asks if there was a magic button that cured
