Is nmCRPC potentially curable?
I would appreciate any input on this. I searched the internet and found this article from Fred Saad: Treatment of nonmetastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer: focus on second-generation androgen receptor inhibitors https://www.nature.com/articles/s41391-020-00310-3 I couldn't find anything

CBC test anemia: high MCV, MCH, low RBC and leukocytes?
Writing for my partner, who is exhausted and down after 5 months ADT and 28x radiation. Returning home he went for CBC, and it came back high MCV MCH, low RBC and leukocytes. His primary w/0 knowledge of cancer tx says nothing. I'm not content with this, I hate to see my partner so tired and unenthused

Summertime
The past July and August show an unexpected very strong improvement in my PD symptoms, without any changes in my supplement list. Meanwhile, my CD-LD dosage did reduce significantly. Probably due to a confluence of circumstances, such as the warm weather, diet, anti-stress, sunlight. We are more or less

Just a quick note to wish all the warriors here a happy holidays with friends and family. As an update, Iām off all treatments and my psa remains <0.014. I remain grateful for the respite. My last degeralix injection and darolutamide was in May, and the SBRT to my ribs and neck about 2 years ago

Hi, please can someone recommend a book to start to understand likely hypothyroidism? A UK publication please. I joined yesterday and am just trying to get my head around it all. I have lots of symptoms and my TSH is creeping up with TS4 and especially TS3 scratching the bottom of the normal range

BTA and 'T3 does not cross the placenta'
The BTA guidelines on liothyronine state 'T3 does not cross the placenta'. There is some truth in this in that type 3 deiodinase (D3) in placenta converts T3 to T2. However, they fail to point out that D3 also converts T4 to rT3. The transport of T3 and T4 across the placenta is very complex but the

Radiation PSA, Orgovyx, Bone density
Rouge clone radiation on 10/31/23 has PSA continuing to drop to 0.85. MO plans to monitor PSA before requesting PSMA scan (insurance) unless it is increasing. Considering switch from Eligard to Orgovyx if PSA looks good in early Feb since Orgovyx apparently has less severe SE and doesn't tie me to

A question on 'high' dosage
So I'm currently on 150mcg of levo and 30mcg T3 and my latest results were still only 65% and 62% respectively. I've just started HRT so I may well continue to see improvements but I'm curious about my dosing. I'm 6'1" and roughly 65kg so I'm on the cusp of underweight. I know we need what we need

Does The Thyroid Affect Potassium Levels?
Hi! A bit of a random question but Iāve recently had some bloods taken by my GP surgery and my potassium levels have come back a little low (3.2 range 3.5-5.3) My TSH is 3.06 (range 0.27-4.20), which I think is a little too high although in range, so it got me thinking if there is a link at all between

Utrogeatan and Hashi-soybean lecithin issues?
Hi everyone, I recently started with bioidentixal HRt (oestrodose and Ultrogestan(progesterone). I have hashimotoes so do not eat soy or gluten. Having taken it for about a month I noticed the corners of my inner eyes red and inflamed which is what I get when I consume allergens. On researching I found
