HRT for Peri Menopause

Hi, Is anyone on HRT for perimenopause? What symotoms were you getting to prompt you to go on HRT and has it helped? Thanks

I guess I’ll write first, so after visiting my doctor she came to the opinion that the contraceptive pill would be best , even tho I’m over 35 , was a smoker and am not the most active person but that’s what she thought was a good starting point but unfortunately I’m 7 days in and I decided not to take yesterdays pill. I will talk with the pharmacist and see if she could recommend another as that one ( Yasmin) has made my blood pressure drop to a level I’m not happy with witch is causing some dizzy spells. I knew it would be a rigmarole trying to find the thing that works well but gosh this is hard work on it’s own

yes it has helped me with anxiety hot flashes and night sweats. And mood swings.

I started on the gel but now use the spray as it dries quicker. And take utrogestan capsules 14 days. I have found it a game changer. It can take a few months to settle in
