Got inspired :)
We had IUI,
ICSI
, IVF shots with own and donor eggs behind to have that third de ivf successful round resulted in our adorable son. I really find it difficult to believe such things could happen. What's this if not God's blessing?? I'm excited.

He thinks the answer will be
icsi

IVF/ICSI PGD BFP OTD!
Ok, I admit it, I just wanted to put as many acronyms as I could in one title! But it’s true, our one little embryo which was tested as “viable”, seems to have stuck. Two positive tests this morning. For those who don’t know me, this is round three of IVF and I have also had two early miscarriages of

My Journey so far.....
We were made up and paid for a package of 2 rounds of
ICSI
at a cost of £15,000 incl meds. Well both rounds failed. First round the worst only 5 eggs collected all poor quality and only 1 fertilised and the next day disintegrated. 2nd round 6 eggs collected only 2 fertilised.

Anxiety and panic about Egg transfer Tuesday
There has been a change of plan to our
ICSI
cycle and we are having a fresh transfer Tuesday AM and sending the remaining eggs that make it for PGS testing.

Cysts on ovaries after 7 week scan?
Hello After my first
icsi
journey, we have been exceptionally lucky to find out that we have twins in the oven after our 7 week scan.

Time standing still this time round!
I'm in the middle of my second
ICSI
cycle at the moment and time just seems to be standing still this time! My egg collection date is provisionally the 12th of April and it seems like an eternity away.

Failed ICSI - all eggs too fragile
We had opted for
ICSI
(intracytoplasmic sperm injection) and we got a call on the day of egg collection to say none survives. All degenerated. We had a meeting yesterday and they have no idea why.

Anyone tried Assisted Hatching or Embryogen?
I’m 40 years old and previous comments from the lab were that the egg outer shell was hard to penetrate/ sticky when we had
ICSI
. We haven’t had any luck with our good quality embryos sticking so far and would like to give it the best possible chance of working this time.

A few changes?
So we finally had our follow up after our second failed
ICSI
cycle and although there still weren’t any answers (I know this is normal as there just aren’t really any answers) the clinic have suggested tweaking a few things so just wanted to ask opinions....

Sperm
The doctor has repeatedly told us that it doesn’t matter about the sperm as they are putting it into the egg with
ICSI
.. Got myself worried now that even if we collect a good amount the quality of sperm may cause us to get no good embryos x

Estimated egg collection day 16 of stims! Will they be too big?
Hi all, This is our first ever cycle and we are having
ICSI
. We are having Embryos tested with PGS so we can only have egg collections from wednesdays to Saturday because of this. I had my day 9 scan of stims yesterday and they said I had 10 follicles growing nicely at approximately 14mm.

When to try IVF for second baby?
I should add in our attempts to have our baby girl we discovered our eggs and sperm didn't want to 'talk to' each other when we tried normal IVF (hence the
ICSI
) and I also do not have periods and do not respond to drugs like clomid.
