Looking for a little bit of hope
The embryologist said on the phone for my age (I’m 35) they can see no reason I wouldn’t be successful in the future - especially as all our eggs fertilised through
ICSI
. But I have so little confidence, and spent the evening looking at adoption options.

10dp5dt Faint positive
I’ve just completed my first IVF (
ICSI
) cycle and today I’m 10dp5dt. My clinic aren’t doing blood tests at the moment - just relying on HPTs.

Second cycle advice please
Of them only 2 were mature and neither fertilised (we are
ICSI
) Spoke to the clinic today and we have a follow up consultation appointment in May. They said the delay is because the embryologist is coming to the meeting. I am presuming this is not standard?

Anyone had mild or natural modified IVF? Or have experience with Create Fertility?
Have had problems with sperm donor (binding issue which was eventually resolved with
ICSI
) and am going to find a new donor if I am to go into a third fresh round. Any feedback or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Plus sized and/or older success stories
My partner and I recently had a failed NHS cycle (4 mature eggs collected, none fertilised with
ICSI
). We waited approximately 5 months to start whilst I lost 2 stone to start the cycle.

No fertilised eggs!!
Monday we had our first
ICSI
cycle. I have low Amh but not drastically. OH has very low sperm, rubbish motility etc etc! He was advised he may have to do surgical sperm retrieval on the day. Long protocol- Buserelin to down reg, Gonal F stims. 15 good sized follicles.

Micro TESA SSR- don’t know what to do
We were supposed to start
ICSI
treatment last February but cause they couldn’t retrieve the sperm, we tried to freeze it but could not find motile sperm.

I’m not ok...and for the first time, that’s ok - Welcome to burn out - who else?
Our 2nd EC came around yesterday - our first round in November (mild ivf using
icsi
) produced promising numbers (8/9 mature eggs and 8/8 fertilising) but none made to freeze.

Sperm DNA has contributed to our struggle - this test may be relevant for you ?!
I wanted to update from a previous post where we had a failed first IVF with
ICSI
round in November. 8 eggs all fertilised but left with nothing to freeze. We were obviously pretty shocked. Getting the sperm DNA fragmentation test was then recommended by the clinic - but also already on my radar.

I just wondered what happens from here timescales etc (appreciate this is different everywhere) I know the clinic will tell us everything but my mind is working overtime currently.

ICSI cycle during Covid
Hi Everyone, We’re about to go for our second round of
ICSI
and obviously because of Covid I’m anxious about how that will impact the process! Does anyone have any experiences to share?

AMH & ICSI/IVF Split
Also we’ve decided to proceed with IVF but the consultant mentioned having IVF/
ICSI
split. Anyone had experience of this and what’s your feelings on it? Xx

1:10 chance of Downs Syndrome
I'm 36 years old and currently 14wks pregnant after my second round of IVF(
ICSI
). We had a scan at 13+1 and got told everything looked fine. However, we have now had a call to say my blood tests put us at high risk for Downs Syndrome (1 in 10 chance).

Next steps post BFN
I have previously had an early miscarriage after a FET last Jan and have a 3 year old from
ICSI
. We are keen to start again as soon as we can but this is our last wee frozen embryo and I’m terrified of it not working again.

Third Transfer, Third Chemical Pregnancy. Any advice on next steps?
My second cycle went better thanks to
ICSI
(13 mature eggs and 4 embryos). Has anyone been in a similar situation in terms of repeated chemicals? If so, are there any changes beyond what I've already stated that you can recommend? IVF has definitely taken its toll on both myself and my partner now.

Sensitive update - 20 week scan
However, we were lucky as we fell pregnant on our first
ICSI
. We only had two embryos, which both were transferred and stuck. But unfortunately we lost one baby which was and still is very hard to accept. But here we are now with a healthy baby girl who is looking more and more like she will stay.

How many attempts will it take? Am I stuck in the IVF rabbit hole?
ICSI
on last 2 rounds; IVF for first 3. Hubby is starting to say that we’re getting the message that it’s not working and we could throw so much more money (and emotions and lifestyle changes) after this and we could get nothing. I am not ready to stop trying.

*sensitive? * faint positive?
After 4 years TTC, 3 IVF/
ICSI
cycles, 4 transfers (1 ectopic with removal of right tube, and 1 gave us our DD), we're trying to conceive naturally as at the moment we can't really do much else. Today I'm at 13 days after positive ovulation test. I had a wee at 2am, and another a few minutes ago.

Lubion from last cycle, can I use it for FET?
Hi All, I have some leftover Lubion (14 vials) from my first
ICSI
cycle in July/August 2020, and my first ever FET (natural) is coming up in a few weeks. This is my last embryo from the 2
ICSI
cycles as the others were failed fresh cycles. Do you think I can use these vials?
