10dp5dt Faint positive

Hi everyone, hoping for your opinion and words of advice? I’ve just completed my first IVF (ICSI) cycle and today I’m 10dp5dt. My clinic aren’t doing blood tests at the moment - just relying on HPTs. Today was the day they told me to test and It looks like I have a very faint positive on a clear blue early detection test... is it wishful thinking on my part? Have attached a photo...

I have to say i had rubbish BFP at 12 DPO from those exact tests they aren't as sensitive as they say they are! I would really test again tomorrow but with a first response early pregnancy test or clear blue digital. I have enclosed a picture of the clear blue early detection at 12 DPO to show you how rubbish it is ( mine only got darker way after missed period!) I wrote a review on Amazon because I was so disgusted by how faint it was. If I hadn't used a first response and clear blue digital I would have doubted it was positive. Congratulations anyway I hope the other tests give you a clearer positive test Xx

Thanks for your reply Jess! I have to say I’ve been hearing more and more about the Clear Blue tests which is so disappointing. Glad you went on to get a good BFP, congratulations! I’ll be going out this afternoon to get some First Response tests and keeping fingers crossed. 🤞🏼 Xx

It is such false advertising to claim they are able to detect pregnancies so early when clearly that is not the case. It's naughty I found first response much better the line wasn't as dark as the control line at 12 DPO but was much more visible! Good luck hope you get a much better positive from that test. Xx
