IVF round 1 - 20 eggs collected, 0 fertilised
We are due to start our next round of IVF with
ICSI
in the next couple of weeks. To have 0 fertilise from 20 eggs was a massive shock so i'm feeling a little bit nervous about the next round. Just wondered if anyone has had a similar experience?

Feeling awful and not coping!
Since 2019 we've been trying for a sibling using DE
ICSI
. Cycles 4-8 we're with a different donor to our son and we had 2 biochemicals , 1 negative and 2 early miscarriages. Cycle 8 I was expecting a negative and prepared for it to be the end of our journey.

more heartbreak - any advice?
Second round 13 eggs with
icsi
, 4 mature 0 fertilised. My AMH is normal for my age and my follicle growth is good they say. They phoned today saying it is my egg quality and most probably down to genetics, but my family have no history of poor egg quality or early menopause.

Follicle growth
Second round of
icsi
has begun, short protocol. I had my third scan yesterday to check the size of the follicles, however not big enough for retrieval, i now have to have another scan on monday to check the progress. This also happened to us in the first round.

Will they stop my IVF (and ICSI) treatment? Miscarriage just before
I have had all my NHS IVF medication delivered, I was just waiting for my period to start any day now so I could begin injections. Then, on Tuesday this week I had my first ever positive pregnancy test. 2 days later I tested again and the test line was not as clear. 3 days later, today, I'm sure I have

Where to go from here…
We also have male fertility issues, so have done
ICSI
. Consultant was pretty blunt tbh, didn’t sugar coat anything. Told me to get bloods etc done again to check autoimmune, follicle count and AMH again . We spoke about one more cycle and the n considering donor eggs. I am 40, my AMH is 11.

Hello ladies. My husband and I are considering IVF/
ICSI

Update on my first round of treatment
Following on from my first egg collection on Monday morning - disappointingly I only got two eggs, of which only one fertilised with
icsi
. So the clinic recommended a day 2 transfer (as nothing to compare against) so I have my appointment tomorrow lunchtime.

fertilisation rate changes
I have had one
icsi
cycle where we had no eggs fertilise (4 mature) and about to have my second cycle (split ivf and
icsi
), and I’m terrified we will have zero fertilisation again. Only positives being it was a small number of eggs first time around.

Anyone used DHEA and melatonin to help egg quality after failed IVF cycles ? Is there any side effects?
I have had 4
ICSI
cycles. First cycle we got one embryo so was able to have a fresh embryo transfer. It resulted to no pregnancy. My hubby and I did another 3
ICSI
cycles. We have no eggs fertilise. So we don’t even get to the embryo transfer stage. It has been so hard.

One final roll of the dice
We’ve finally made the decision (9 months after our last failed cycle) to have one last roll of the dice to try for a sibling (daughter born 2020 on fourth go at IVF/
ICSI
).

Long protocol, ICSI, AMH 10.6 and Adenomyosis - has anyone had any experience with this combination?
Evening ladies Got the phonecall this week that we will be starting our NHS funded round of
ICSI
when my cycle starts next week.... Eek! Due to my age and adenomyosis they are putting me on long protocol so egg collection will be towards end April. We are having
ICSI
due to low sperm count.

PICSI or ZYMOT? also Intralipid or IVIG?
I am hoping someone can add some valuable points or thoughts to help on our next and final round of
ICSi
. We have had 6 rounds of
ICSI
and the closest we got to a BFP, sadly ended up an ectopic on round 5.
