One step back again...incredibly frustrated
Hello all. I saw a consultant in September for a diagnostic laparoscopy and coil insertion. However, because I work in the hospital I opted to have it done somewhere different. 3 months later I was accepted at another hospital by a consultant who agreed to do the lap. Which is due on Friday. However

Low sex drive.
I've had Coil since February 2022 and I'm experiencing a low sex drive, when I had no problems on that. What is your best advice? Thanks

Severe pain after coil insertion
Hi guys, I was wondering if any of you had experienced bad pain after having a coil fitted? I decided to get one while I’m in a long waiting list to see yet another specialist as my current pill hasn’t been doing much to help. While I haven’t been having periods whilst on the pill, I have been experiencing

Anyone else dealing with OCD?
I apologize if this may not be the right place to mention OCD, but I didn’t see a group for OCD. I struggle really hard with OCD, and for those that can relate, it’s not fun. You feel like you are constantly battling something invisible that if you don’t do things a certain way, is going to appear

medically induced menopause
I’m only 26 and have the coil, the surgeon has said he wants me to be put into early menopause to treat my deep pelvic endometriosis. But no other treatment has been tried, has anyone ever experienced this treatment and if so what did it do?

To hell and back...
I was diagnosed with endometriosis and fibroid in my late 40s. Pain was horrendous and bleeding would make its way through my clothing. The merena coil was attempted but wouldn't stay in because of my inverted womb. Fast forward a year later I started prostap which helped hugely but is only recommended

Mirena coil experiences?
Does anyone have experience of a Mirena Coil with Hypothyroidism (esp. Hashimoto's)? I have very heavy periods, now on 100mcg Levo and feeling much improved. I'm 48 so very likely peri-menopausal too. Just had an appointment with the Womens' Health Nurse at our practice who suggested Mirena IUD as

Blood test results
Hello, I've been a few different symptoms (tiredness, heavy and irregular periods, hair falling out) and my GP organised for a full blood test, which I've now had back. My iron levels, B12 etc were all fine. But I was wondering about the Thyroid levels, in particular the T4; is it too low although

Getting back out there
Following my
ICD
procedure back in March . I thought I’d do something to help me both physically and mentally. I’m looking to get going in the Couch to 5K How’s everyone finding it? I used to be very active at school in the 80’s and I’ve done a park run around 6 years ago!

What brand of copper coil from 2014
I had a copper coil fitted back in 2014 which should be effective for ten years, but my GP said that it should be replaced as I don't remember the brand that was fitted; because there are some that last less than ten years. It's been almost impossible to find out because the coil was fitted in an abortion
