Having mirena coil fitted
Hello! I’m 23, I’ve had endo for 10 years now. I had a mirena coil fitted when I was 18 but it was during my laparoscopy so I obviously wasn’t aware of it being inserted. Some complications and changes, it ended up ‘falling’ down. Then tried the implant and then the pill. Due to me having my symptoms

looking for advice/support - newly diagnosed and struggling.
I was taken to theatre in April for lap surgery (they only drained my cysts and sorted an intestinal adhesion) and following this was diagnosed with endometriosis. I wasn’t aware of the condition until this happened. Following this I have felt so isolated and have had no support. I saw a gynae 9 weeks

Ongoing problems 8 months since surgery
I noticed a horrible, recurring shoulder/chest pain a couple of years ago which I initially put down to a possible injury. I realised something was wrong when it started getting worse, affecting my breathing and making me not want to talk when the pain was at it's worst. I called the GP who put me on

IUD after 1st lap advice
Hi all, Apologies if it is too much info, but just want advice about my IUD. I had my first lap nearly two months ago and had an IUD put in whilst I was under. All went fine and had bleeding afterwards, as expected, and everything seemed like it all was healed and settled down afterwards, however

Merina coil and menopause
I had a merina coil fitted 2 years ago because of fibroids. After a few months my periods settled and and have only had 3 lights periods in the past year. How will I know if it’s menopause or the coil causing my few periods I’m 51.

birth control
I’ve been having horrible mood swings on the birth control pill. My doctor thinks I could possibly be sensitive to estrogen. I’ve never had a baby so an IUD is not an option for me. Im looking at the Depo shot or the nexplanon implant. However she did say depo can make my depression worse. Does anyone

mirena coil help
Hi, I have been diagnosed with stage 4 endo through a lap last year. I was fine until a couple of months ago and now the pain is back for 2 solid weeks out of every month. My surgeon is reluctant to perform a hysterectomy because he said i have too much scaring and the risks are extremely high.

period after laparoscopy
Hello my lovelies. I had my first laparoscopy (and excision of endo) three weeks ago this coming Monday. I came on my period four days after surgery. It's now day 17 and I'm going crazy. It's not particularly heavy I'm - not using tampons of course, and the blood is only there in my urine and when

Cardiac Arrest, ICD, Breathlessness...
My partner aged 32 had a cardiac arrest at the beginning of January this year, he was in hospital for 3 weeks and now has an
ICD
fitted and is on bisoprolol medication. The doctors and consultants have ran many tests on him and said that there is nothing wrong with his heart.
