coil in heart

Hi all ,

Has anyone had a coil fitted in their heart ?

i have a fissure and awaiting the results of CT and MRI as to treatment plan .

I’ve googled and search and very little info about this procedure. But what would be really useful is how long people have taken to recover after.

Trying to plan my return to work after MI 3 months ago .

Hope someone can help me .

I was interested know what this was and googled it.Quite a lot of info there .I had a septal defect fixed via an artery/vein in my groin.Some of the repairs to do a coil go about fixing it in the same.way.I imagine the options depend on how the surgeon intends to do the operation. and probably a host of other factors.

Thanks for replying. Bizarrely I could only find 3 articles but now there’s a few more when I just googled it too .
