Shall i have the Mirena Coil removed??????
Hi All, This time last year i decided to get a Mirena coil. When the nurse was trying to insert it i was in a lot of pain, apparently my muscles were spasming whilst they were clamped so they had problems inserting the coil. They managed to insert the coil in on the 4th attempt. I was in so much pain

Anxiety, so simple so severe
I used to post in OCD section even if my diagnosis is OCD & Panic Attack Disorder & Anxiety. OCD sounds more serious and complicated, so I did the mistake to totally forget the anxiety disorder of my diagnosis (Panic Disorder is dead thanks to clomipramine) charging everything to OCD. Friendly advice

I never knew the pill could make me feel so ill!
Hi folks, has anyone had a similar experience to mine? I had endo removed during laparoscopy in March, and the next two periods were dreadful. However, inbetween them I felt really well. I then was put on Rigevidon and told to run three packs back to back. By the middle of the second pack I was bleeding

Hormonal depression
Tips for dealing with hormone related depression? I’m currently waiting for a procedure to remove my coil as the strings are lost, so I can’t even get it out ASAP. The depression is getting bad and I things I usually enjoy aren’t helping.

It is endrometriosis
For a good while I had pain lower right side every week but not every day. Scans did not pick up anything so I had a diagnostic laparoscopy last Monday. They found endrometriisis on outside womb bladder side towards the right They treated this as well as taking a biopsy from inside my womb & fitted coil

Hi all I have no official diagnosis but have all the signs. I'm 44 and had a mirena coil inserted in march during hysteroscopy and polypectomy. Since then my pain is increasing 10 fold and the bleeding is brown/black mixed with red and dark clots. My tv scan 6 weeks ago showed another haemorrhagic cyst

First proper period after lap 😩
Hi Guys.. So I had my lap on the 14th June, they also interred a coil - from the minute I woke up I was bleeding... this lasted 18 days (coil decided to come out on day 15). I had 3 weeks of NO bleeding 🥳 the longest it’s been in 3 years 💅🏻. Period started three days ago, it’s awfully heavy but that

25mg of thyroxine for depression?
Hello all, I haven't written on here for a while. I had half my thyroid removed in 2014 for an inconclusive nodule and have not been on any medication since then. All results still in mid-range (TSH about 1.5 (although has gone up as far as 2.5 sometimes) FT4 15-16 and FT3 anything from 4-5.7. TSH

BGSE appointment-help!
Hi all, bit of a strange one but I had my laparoscopy in March, and I've continued to be in pain since then. This was at my local hospital, not a BSGE centre. I haven't been impressed with the gynae who lied and said I'd agreed to go on the pill rather than giving me a lap, then didn't tell me all that

Tilted cervix but not tilted uterus?
Hello I've tried googling an answer but can't find one. During a smear /colposcopy I was told that I have a tilted cervix, they explained this could be the reason why I have alot of pain when speculum are used. They they applied pressure one side of the speculum and the pain did ease quite a bit. But

Alternative treatment
Hello, I was diagnosed with endometriosis over 20 years ago and had laser surgery to remove what they could and had my cervix quarterized. Coil check up/string
I had my coil fitted in January of this year (2019) but I haven’t been for a check up at all since I’ve had it done as I’m so scared because it caused me a lot of pain when fitting. Is it painful getting it checked out?? Also should your partner be able to feel the string bit when having sex? He’s says
