Hi I’ve had the coil fitted 7 weeks ago was the pains you experienced cramping that comes when moving. I had laproscopic surgery at the same time and I’m not sure if this cramping should be happening, I understand I will be sore after surgery but it’s the cramping that goes through my hips and down my legs. My follow up is in November I’m just not sure what to do next.

Hello, unfortunately I dont know what it is either but just to say i have the same feeling. And i am 11weeks post op.
I get an uncomfortable and what can only de described as an unsettled pelvic area after getting up fast or exercise.
I hope it is the coil settling in but I will ask my Dr when I see him in 4 weeks and report back to you if you like.
I am sure it is a side effect as there are many listed. If it is manageable, id say live with it, if its painful get it removed. X
Hi thank you for your reply, I had a reply from my consultant today and she said it’s quite common for more pain post op if you had lots of lesions like I had and May take time to settle. At least now I know it’s normal and hopefully it will sort it’s self out soon. X
