Ibuprofen

I have not taken any painkillers this month (I usually take so many ibuprofen) I have more energy and I am pain free 😊 for further details please look into the AIP diet (Autoimmune Protocol) unfortunately I have never been told to alter/change my diet by any doctor despite seeing many for my endometriosis

There is always the fear of a flare up as I do get low back pain at times but it goes if I take a dose of Ibuprofen. I also now have regular back massages that help. Strength wise, my legs ache at times if I do too much, get stressed or not enough rest but back to normal activity.

This is probably the worst phase of the withdrawal or the new permanent for me. 150mg lyrica, 50mg tram I even took Ibuprofen to find some relief but none whatsoever.

Also can you take Ibuprofen while on Pred ? I can’t believe it’s almost 4 years now with PMR 🥳🥳🥳☹️ Hope everyone had a good summer 😎

I’ve tried everything, warm bath with magnesium flakes, paracetamol / ibuprofen before I go to bed etc, etc, nothing seems to be helping at the moment. I either need a new bed or a new body.

Only just started taking rivaroxaban and also have taken two doses of ibuprofen. Didn’t realise I shouldn’t. Should I contact anyone or just monitor any symptoms. What should I look for?

I have been masking the pain all day the best I could with acetaminophen and ibuprofen. It doesn't take the pains away but brings the level down some.

I take ibuprofen and paracetamol, as well as have a hot water bottle, but they don’t do much. Thanks for the help in advance! x

I am currently taking paracetemol plus ibuprofen and waiting for the results from my x-ray a couple of days ago. If it is Osteoarthritis in my knees, is it possible to get them 'cleaned out' or is that a totally different thing??

I did speak to my doctor who said it was nothing to worry about and just take strong ibuprofen which I have tried and they do nothing. For the past 6 months in addition to the headaches I have been waking in the middle of the night and I also seem to be sweating more.

I'm planning on doing parkrun tomorrow, so will take some Ibuprofen today and see how I go. From now on, I am going to have to make the time to run and not leave such a big gap from one to the other!! Happy running, all :D

I was planning to ask about pain management but looking on the internet it just seems to be ibuprofen suggested? I’m already on the implant and that doesn’t overly help anything (although the dr thinks it may have slowed any progression).

Anyone take ibuprofen, acetaminophen or aspirin or anything for pain or to reduce inflammation while on anxiety drugs? Im on lexapro and ativan at the moment. Just curious to see what you all have done as far as dealing with headaches or pain.

My doctor had no idea what was causing my pain and for months I was on Ibuprofen 800 mgs three times a day just to make it through my day.

I saw the doctor, who diagnosed varicose veins and offered me pressure tights and ibuprofen. Around March both my feet developed pins and needles, so painful I struggled to walk without soft footwear and insoles.

Take 2-400mg Ibuprofen every 4-6 hrs. Tuesday- Family Dr examined me and thought not neurological but a tension headache. Take 10mg Amitriptylene before bed for pain. (And ok to take with my 75mg EffexorXR antidepressant which I take in morning). And get a massage. Thursday- Saw Rheumatologist.

I have taken my first pill today and had ibuprofen but I'm hurting so much. Any advise on how to ease the pain, just want to be able to walk or stand long enough for a shower (I have m.e/cfs too so my body easily gets weak and fatigued). Thanks
