Appointment with Rheumatologist and my falling!
I tell him a scar from a
hysterectomy
when I was 36 has started repeatedly weeping and is very sore, I was concerned it was related to the steroids. He asked what dose I was taking. 10mg a day which I have been for a year or so. He looked a bit shocked and there was lots of “Oh, um.

Endometriosis, adhesions and struggling to work.
I saw my gyne yesterday and he has said I need a full
hysterectomy
including both ovaries, tubes and uterus. This won’t be until January and I don’t know how I’ll cope with work until then.

Hysterectomy date!
I had the follow up from my lap a month ago this morning, and got the date for my
hysterectomy
- still 2 months to wait, but at least it's moving in the right direction!

MRI diagnosis?
Have had
hysterectomy
with ovaries left in and further excision on right side peritoneal wall. I want answers like everyone and a plan of action. Don’t know how much more of this daily pain I can cope with. They suggested taking out my ovaries next but am worried even that won’t solve it.

Myofascial Release Therapy - anyone?
I’ve had full
hysterectomy
and endo removal 3 months ago. I’m still having the tightness down my left side and thigh. My amazing women’s health physio said it will be left over tension in the fascia from years of endo.

High CA-125, yet no symptoms
I had a TOTAL
hysterectomy
, and debaulking. First round of chemo was carbo-taxol - responded well. Two years later I had a recurrence and had a second round of carbon-gemzar and avastin and responded well. In March of 2020 I started Zejula and have been on it ever since.

hysterectomy advice
I have tried several treatments and recently I have been considering having a
hysterectomy
, I wondered if anyone could share their experiences with me on having the procedure and the decision making process that led you to do it. I am 34, I have one daughter and I do not want more children.

What to expect after surgery
Hi all, I’m due to have excision surgery and
hysterectomy
next month with a BSGE accredited surgeon at a private hospital and wondering what happens afterwards. I’m scheduled for a 2 night stay but beyond that I have no idea what to expect.

I also have a morphine pump as I have chronic pain from nerve damage from a
hysterectomy
years ago. All kinds of issues going through but this one worries me the most. My father had kidney disease which he had two transplants over a 10 year period.

Suitable clothing post hysterectomy
Hi, like many folk, I’m on the waiting list for a total
hysterectomy
. Trying to do something practical, I’m preparing for the recovery. Can anyone recommended good clothing options for when I return from hospital please?

Waiting for chemo to start
I had surgery 5 weeks ago which involved a full
hysterectomy
and then I was later given a staging of ovarian cancer 3b. All has been healing well, except I now feel a bit bloated again on the right hand side (the left is softer).

Treating recurrence with Doxil: Side Effects?
Prior to chemo I had a complete
hysterectomy
, omentectomy, appendectomy, and transverse colon resection. I now have a recurrence, with a tumor near the sigmoid colon and rectum. There is no surgery or radiation treatment they can do for this.

WHAT is even bleeding?
I already had a complete
hysterectomy
in 2008. In 2019 I also had a bilateral oophorectomy, salpingectomy, omentectomy, appendectomy. In July2019 I was in remission but in March 2020 recurred achieving my current "partial response" stable status by October 2020. My CA125 Friday was stable. 16.

Partial hysterectomy -long term side effects?
I have lots of fibroids including really big one and will probably need
hysterectomy
. I would get to keep ovaries and cervix. Still I read some side effects like back pain, hips pain, loss of sex drive, aging faster. Just would like to hear from women who had this done - whats your experience?
