I feel like everyday is different some days I feel semi ok the others I feel awful
Ive had the 1st zoladex and it gave me a period. I was sold this as a miracle cure. And felt mislead. Ive not had a period for months and now this. Also the pain is still there. All the menopause symptoms are back and I’m not sleeping again. I’m 51 and only have been given the zoladex because I’m being considered for a hysterectomy. Over the years no doctor or specialist has the answer. You get so down and fed up with it. All other long term conditions are recognised so why not adenomyosis and endometriosis.

Hi Totally understand how you feel. It's so frustrating trying to get answers while constantly being mis lead into doing what consultations think we should be doing. Don't think any of them have a clue and it's just pot luck if something works!Currently waiting for a total hysterectomy after trying all other things to help manage pain/symptoms.
Have you been given any hrt to help with the side effects from zoladex?
Did they warn you that things could flare up when you have the injection?
Hello! I had my first Zoladex injection at the beginning of this month and my nurse went through everything with me and told me to expect a period just whilst my system processes the drugs. I am sorry your experience has not been as good as mine RE information given to you, but I think it is pretty normal to bleed after having it the first time. I currently have flare up pains and am expecting a bleed to follow soon, but try to remain positive for the next 5 months of treatment. X
Hi, I really know how you feel. I was on Zoladex for quite a while whilst waiting for my full hysterectomy. My op was cancelled a few times during the pandemic so ended up being on it for well over a year which panicked me a little! I was also on a small dose of HRT to manage side effects which helped (tibolone). I do remember bleeding quite randomly and i think the few months before my surgery i bled a little bit most days and was told that was quite normal. Looks after yourself and keep positive. It takes a while for your body to adjust so be patient xx
