Hi am josie-Anne I’m 56 next month and I had a dexa scan in October which showed I have osteopenia so my doctor put me on Eva cal D3 1500/400 iu calcium chewable tablets, I already took 2000iu vitamin D because I have fibromyalgia and CFS, have broken many bones, I had my hysterectomy at the age of 35 but still kept right tube and ovary. I am post menopausal and they checked by blood test to find I’ve got a hormonal imbalance, progesterone and testosterone but the can’t give me oestrogen, I’m on gummies for hormone imbalances but don’t find they are doing anything at the moment, I have a lot a medical issues but would like to know more about this new thing I have as doctors haven’t told me much if anybody can point me in the right direction I’d be obliged, thank you 🙏

Do you have PMR and/or GCA? People on this forum normally take vit D with calcium as they are also on steroids which can affect bone density. You may be better going on an Osteoporosis site.

Which "new thing" do you mean? Osteopenia or the hormonal problem?
