Hi, I was diagnosed on Dec 2019, high grade fallopian tube cancer in stage 1, had radical hysterectomy, etc, and 6 cycles of carbo\taxol from march to july 2020, BRCA negative in blood. On september 2021 my CA 125 marked 80, it was 13 on june, and a reccurrence was confirmed in January 2022 in 8 areas of my abdomen peritoneum, 2 small tumors and the rest still very small. Sending my old and new tumor for studies. No surgery is possible at this moment. Any ideas, advice or similar case? Thanks ❣️

Hi! I was diagnosed with very similar symptoms as you in 2010 and all these years later I'm still here like you but you have a distinct advantage because the longer the appearance of the 1st recurrence after diagnosis the better. I've had two, the first after only 18 months.I did have surgery though and radiotherapy. I was also lucky enough to be accepted on two drug trials so I've embraced every treatment I've been offered. Good luck with your journey and don't give up!! Remember also, there are always people worse off than you even if that's a bit of a selfish thought Gx

Hi. I’d say your situation is fairly common among us. I recurred after 9 months and had six cycles of carbo caelyx then went on Olaparib and have been on it for almost two years. However I have a somatic brca1 mutation and am HRD+. It’s good they’re testing your tumors. I’m sorry you have to go on treatment again. Hugs.

Hugs to you too! Hope everything is stable and fine with your treatment, reading you gives me hope 🤗 let you now how it goes as long as I get info in tumor and further treatment

Hi Marylight,

I’m sorry that you are going through such a tough time. I’m 56 and BRCA1. My OC was first diagnosed in 2015. I had TAH BSO Hysterectomy. Chemo 1 was Taxol, Carboplatin & Avastin. Recurrence 2018. I had a small op to remove a tumour from my liver. I had other bits & pieces, including lymph nodes. Second Line chemo was Carboplatin, Gemzar & Avastin. I’m fine at the moment. I’ve been on Olaparib since May 2019.

Hopefully a treatment plan will be put in place for you soon. There are loads of treatment options these days. Try to remain hopeful. Let us know when you have a treatment plan in place.

I’m thinking of you and wishing you well.

Anne 🤗

Hi Anne! Thanks for asking 🤗 so I had 2 rounds of Carbo platin + gemzar + Avastin, just yesterday got my second round. And a feel wonderful must of the time. Hope it keeps like that 😄.

After my 1rst round my Ca125 fell from 800 to 433, doctors where very optimictic, in 2 weeks we'll see the results of this 2nd round.

My belly, which was slightly bloated and sometimes hard, now is flat and soft, so blood an belly say it is working.

I'll jeep you posted! 🤗🌠
