CA-125 numbers rising
I went through 6 rounds of Chemo & had a total
hysterectomy
in September 2021. Since December of 2021 I have been in remission, & since January of 2022 I've been on Avastin treatment. But since about January of 2023 my Cancer Antigen have been rising in 2 number increments.

Hysterectomy after long term zoladex?
I want to opt for a
hysterectomy
and just wondered if anyone has done this and if the side affects are the same as the zoladex? I am very fortunate and all of my side affects are very tolerable. The odd hot flush after I get the injection, little brain fog but that’s really about it.

Have seen a urogynacologist and am now trialling HRT patches (
hysterectomy
in 2018) plus estrogen vaginal suppositories. Taking sleeping tabs and occasional valium for the anxiety its causing. Have stopped socialising. Has anyone had botox in the vulva/clitoral area?

Estrogen Replacement therapy after surgical menopause
I had a full
hysterectomy
- removal of everything, over 20 years ago. I am on 2mg of Estrogen once per day. The docs used to do the implant yearly but it is no longer available. I am now 51 years old. Its odd as lots of people I know are going through menopause, weird to know where I sit!

Internal Burning
I had a
hysterectomy
21 years ago and it was only through recurrent UTI’s that I was eventually diagnosed with vaginal atrophy. I was put on Vagifem and a vaginal moisturiser but whereas my UTI’s stopped the intense burning ( as if someone had put a tube of Deep Heat inside me).

Mucinous Ovarian Tumour
I recently had a total
hysterectomy
following a scan showing an ovarian cyst. The report showed stage 1a mucinous ovarian tumour on my left ovary. I had subsequently had blood tests - CA125, CA19-9, liver, kidneys and full blood count, all of which were normal.

endometriosis and HRT
I’ve had a total
hysterectomy
and was prescribed estrogel to help with menopause. Felt great until I was then put on progesterone tablets to stop endo growing again elsewhere. The progesterone has hit me hard and obviously doesn’t suit me but I’ve been told to basically just put up with it.

Endometriosis?
A few years past and these symptoms persisted and I was advised at 31 to have a
hysterectomy
so that’s what I did, unfortunately it didn’t go to plan and I suffered catastrophic bleeding and ended up being rushed down to theatre to stop the bleed, I lost that much blood my organs began to shut down and

GNRH Injections and Fibroids
His advice would be a complete
hysterectomy
as I do not intend to have children. He has recommended the GNRH Analogue injections which will force the symptoms of the menopause early thus hopefully stopping my periods, shrinking the fibroids and reducing the pain.

Bladder Prolapse post hysterectomy
I had full
hysterectomy
and debulking surgery in December’22 I have now developed a bladder prolapse recently. I am considering having a ring pessary inserted. Has anyone any experience of this? Will I be able to feel it? Will it affect my bowel movements? How long can it stay in place?

Chances of getting a hysterectomy on the nhs aged 30?
Anyone had any success getting a
hysterectomy
at aged 30 ? If so what did you have to do to persuade your gp it was right for you ? After 12 yrs of back and forth with no progress, I want to be able to make a choice myself. Finally a gp suggested endo in 2021 but nothing is confirmed.

Chronic flank pain and atrophy...
Thoughts went back to my endometriosis so I got a
hysterectomy
to resolve the endo pain and hoped to resolve the flank pain as well, but that didn't work either.
