Multiple conditions leading to burnout
My consultant has recently advised I am likely to need a
hysterectomy
and has discussed injections in the interim. I am still fairly young so it isn't ideal. Alongside this, my entire family has been decimated by cancer.

I had a
hysterectomy
. 20 years ago. So with the MBC and now this I am a little concerned. Going to a OBGYN go a test. Hopefully maybe scar tissue probably not since it was not there in the first pet scan. Praying. Has anyone else had this issue???

Feeling low after consultant meeting following laoaroscopy
He said that the globular uterus could be caused by Adenomyosis and offered me a
hysterectomy
but couldn't promise that would solve my issues. It's a 12 to 18 month wait.

Post menopause, pernicious anaemia and endometriosis
Diagnosed with endomeriosis over 15 years years ago, had Prostap injections for 6 months, with little success and opted to try Mirena Coil first before
hysterectomy
. Mirena was a god send for me, it was great at controlling my symptons, I've had 3 mirena coils in total.

I had a major surgery about 8 months ago but the pain around my stomach hasn't gone away. My blood tests and CT scan results are normal. They mentioned that have adhesions which make me in pain all day all night, so I only rely on the pain reliefs.

Does tibilone get better?
I have stage 4 endo and adeno and all this is to decide whether or not to have a
hysterectomy
. I definitely don't want it if this is how it will be! My consultant said I would feel better within a few days but I feel so much worse. Is this normal?

Just had hysterectomy due to prolapsed bladder and think it's come back due to severe constipation.
Completely fed up. Does this mean I have to have surgery again? I have also ran out of ndt again for about the fifth time due to it being so expensive and my tsh was really high about 6.5 when I had blood test for my pre op. It was also high the previous time as I had ran out then as well. I hate

Can’t decide
B) total
hysterectomy
with ovary removal, he’d prefer to leave this as close to the age of 51 as possible as it would highly increase my risk of heart disease, osteoporosis and Alzheimer’s.

HE4 blood test
Mine was 29 the night before my
hysterectomy
. That was in 2020 and the CA125 since then has been in the single digits even when it recurred in 2022. My June 2023 CT scan didn’t show evidence of the disease. Doc is also using the HE4 as a marker. It’s 126 now. It’s been steadily climbing.

I'm 68 well over menopause and full
hysterectomy
11 years ago. GP agreed but I would have had to wait a month for them to do it at the surgery. Think they must get paid for doing them now. So made them print the blood test forms off and got an appointment at our local hospital tomorrow.

Chronic pain medication review - help!
I'm now finally on the waiting list for a total
hysterectomy
which should get rid of the bulk of my pain - and therefore i will stop the pain medication. However, I've now to have a meeting with a chronic pain pharmacist (a 1hr nhs apt!) And i have a feeling they want me to stop my pain relief.
