Bisoprolol
I have been told I have
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
, and have had MRI, Angiogram and eco scan and ecg. He is waiting on me having a 48 hour monitor and genetics test then will access further treatment and maybe an ICD implant. He doesnt think I am high risk.

HOCM and mirtrazapine
I have a diagnosis of AF and
hypertrophic
obstructive
cardiomyopathy
and have been put on starting dose of 15 mg mirtrazapine. I have been put on it after a zoom call with the crisis team. I have been on it for 7 days and it has calmed me right down to almost my normal self.

Bisoprolol Fumarate side effects
Ecocardiogram, Angiogram and MRI (still waiting on results of MRI from 3 weeks ago) I have no blockages but they are more or less certain its
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
and inherited from my parents. They discharged me and gave me Bisoprolol on dose of 2.5mg in the morning.

Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
Would appreciate any Hearties here who have been diagnosed with
Hypertrophic
Cardiomyopathy
, with advice on the most effective medications to manage this condition. Not surgical procedures, just the meds. as surgery is not a viable option for me.

Terrified please help.
I was told I had
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
about 15 years ago and have been having it checked annually without any issues. Last week I was feeling a little pain in my chest, palpitations and other symptoms so I took myself to hospital.

New diagnosis of AF and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
Hi, my 48 yr old husband has recently been diagnosed with AF and I think,
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
. I say I think because he was in hospital having tests and I couldn’t be there. When he came out he was in such a state and didn’t have the correct discharge note.

HCM worries
So 27 years old and have
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
. Diagnosed in 2014 and prescribed 5mg bisoprolol. Through the years I’ve had a few minor visits to hospital, and obviously my yearly check up.

Can I give blood if I have Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) ?
I have apical
Hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
(HCM), no murmurs etc and don't take medication. Will I be able to give blood ? I gave regularly until my diagnosis a few years ago. Cardiologist doesn't see a problem, but blood donation people are sceptical. What have others been told ?

Confused
You are classed as extremely vulnerable (most at risk) if: ...you are pregnant and have significant heart disease - defined by experts as any of the following: coronary heart disease (if you have symptoms),
hypertrophic
cardiomyopathy
(if it affects your heart function), thickening of the heart muscle
