Hi everyone - new to this, apologies if its been answered before. I have apical Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), no murmurs etc and don't take medication. Will I be able to give blood ? I gave regularly until my diagnosis a few years ago. Cardiologist doesn't see a problem, but blood donation people are sceptical. What have others been told ?
