67 years old female, retired critical care nurse of 5 years. How I coped was to keep busy with demanding job , raising 4 children, etc. Now I am bored and have to face the trauma. Tried several antidepressants, TMS, Ketamine, psilocybin and therapy. Thinking of typing hypnosis. Any suggestions?

Have they tried other meds in combination with antidepressants? Mood stabilizers? Antipsychotics?

Have you done more than one type of therapy?

My suggestion is that you find a therapist that specializes in treating trauma/c-ptsd and work with them. It takes courage and commitment to go deep into your past and be vulnerable so you can process and heal but it's definitely worth it. My trauma therapist used emdr as part of the therapy which was very helpful for my healing and desensitizing me of the past memories and triggers.
