liver enzymes elevated after Urso brand change.
I have had PBC since 2004 with stable liver enzymes until approximately one year ago. I realize it may be disease progression but am wondering because I had an insurance company change just before their elevation and my new insurance company switched me to a different generic brand of ursodiol. Does

Worry over my painful recovery after partial knee replacement surgery
Hi everyone, This is so difficult to post but I really need advice following my partial knee replacement on 19th August. I take blood thinners because I have two mechanical valves in my heart. I had comprehensive care plan. I stuck religiously to the plan prior to admission, the surgery itself was

How I effectively cured my afib.
How I effectively cured my Afib. I know everyone’s story and situation is different, but this is my journey and how I effectively cured my afib. I use the term effectively because I’m pretty sure I would have an episode if I stopped taking my supplements, but I am 100% pharmaceutical free –

Alendronic acid and mental health
Morning all, I was wondering if anyone else experiences a surge in anxiety symptoms on the day they take AA. I definitely feel my mood nose diving in the day when I take it. The next day I feel weak and exhausted. Then gradually better until the next week. I am speaking to my GP later on today. I have

Pausing Medication
Hi all, This is my first post on this forum, so please be gentle! I was diagnosed with osteoporosis late in 2023 and started taking alendronic acid 70mg in Feb. I was also prescribed a statin for cholesterol around the same time. For the last few months I've been suffering from painful shoulder

I am female, aged 71 and a UK resident.Early in 2023 I experienced significant and prolonged upper back pain, followed a few weeks later by similar lower back pain. X-rays revealed fractures at L1 and L4. After waiting some time, a DEXA scan showed 'severe' osteoporosis. I am now on an annual programme

weather related flare
Having a bad one today. Thunderstorms and wind yesterday, more rain today. Headache and body pain. Took an arthritis Tylenol, magnesium and malic acid and it hasn’t subsided. ☹️. After I’ve had something to eat, I’ll take an Advil. 🤞😶🌫️

4 months after laparoscopy pain comes back
hi all, it's my first post here... i had a laparoscopy in April, stage 2 endometriosis, couple of cysts (one excised, one drained). I had the hormonal Mirena coil inserted during the surgery as I was told this is the best solution to prevent endo from coming back. First two months were full of spotting

Tranexamic acid after having surgery for a knee replacement when I’m also taking sinthrome
Hi all, I am currently in hospital after having a knee replacement. I have two mechanical valves after having open heart surgery in Feb 2021. I take Sinthrome instead of Warfarin, as I was losing my hair, so was switched by my surgeon. Anyway I am currently recovering from a knee operation. The
