update I stopped Alendronic Acid when had heartburn and after discussion with Consultant stopped taking a couple of months ago. Good Dexa scan . I have reduced Prednisolone down to 8mg soon to be 7mg. I have been very slowly reducing Omeprazole from 20 mg daily to 10 mg every other day . Fingers crossed I am feeling well though sometimes tired/sleepy but I am getting older! I have a cranky knee at the moment so hoping it doesn’t stop me walking my couple of miles every day..I take a stick along for security and when it gives way. I was told I would need a new knee.
I am booked for holiday in Sicily I almost gave up on it when first diagnosed. Am going the beginning of October🤞

To get you from check in desk to departure gate - all airports worldwide offer… Most go through airline when booking, but you can also request when you get to airport itself. . But I’d discuss with airline or travel agent if you booked through one initially. You might not need if airport is small, but if you’re going from a bigger one and there’s along walk it’s a must.
I find that even in small airports it may be useful. I was assured at Seoul airport that it was only about 50 yards to the gate - it was indeed, you could see it from the check-in, the other side of security. However, it turned out there was a long queue for security, even in the priority lanes. and I stood in the queue for well over half an hour, The other side was fine, a very short walk to a cafe/bar with seating, but when we arrived at the gate all the seating was full to overflowing, I would have had to stand again. I had a card for priority boarding so I showed it and we were taken to another level where there was plenty of seating for our 3/4 hour wait for boarding. Munich is a fairly small airport - until you land at the extreme eastern end of terminal 5 and your luggage carousel is at the extreme western end! With a lot of stairs or escalators to negotiate!
With Airport Assistance you are accompanied, either on an electric cart or in a wheelchair and there are reserved areas. If there are gate changes or delays, they make sure you get to the place you need to be at the time you need to be there. With the end result you arrive feeling human and not totally frazzled and exhausted!
