Can anyone tell me about tikosyn
Anyone have any experience with this. I had an ablation last July, currently use flecainide and recently had 3 breakthroughs, one lasting about 26 hours. The PA for my electrophysiologist is talking about this drug. I've not heard any thing about it. I'm currently 65, will be fully retired from work

Bronchial Wall Thickening
My 18 yr old son has recently had a chest CT scan. He had a life threatening asthma attack last September, with bilateral pneumothoraces, silent chest and peri cardiac arrest. His Consultant wanted to make sure both lungs are fully healed, with no weak spots, before flying. The results have come back

PLMD worse with common cold/flu?
Does anyone experience their PLMD being worse when they have a cold/flu? I have recently had a string of colds/flu. I have taken to my bed for a week or more each time, being completely exhausted. I used to just take cold remedies and push on with my daily life, now Iām off work sick. Iām wondering

Appointment with Dr. Buchfuhrer
Had first appointment with Dr. Buchfuhrer about ten days ago. He is very attentive, determined to find a solution, and his follow through is exactly as he told us it would be. He follows up immediately as he told us he would via phone and patient portal. He started my husband on Methadone, a small

Nitrous Oxide
I just wanted to warn you all about the effect of nitrous oxide. Apparently it will oxidise all the B12 in you body, rendering it useless, and can cause problems for those with low levels. I just had a general anaesthetic with gas and I think it has set back the improvement I was beginning to get. Just

A fresh look at an age old supplement. Lithium.
It never ceases to amaze me how things that I saw years ago and ignored turn out to be of far greater interest when I actually take the time to research them. Today's example is lithium. This morning I started by reading a new thread on the Parkinson's forum that linked to an interview with a doctor

Finally, relief!
For 17 years my primary care doctor had me on Alprazolam or Xanax. It started when I was having anxiety from work-related things. I noticed it stopped my RLS so the doctor reduced my dose to the lowest dose, and I'd cut it in half, besides. My doctor retired and my new doctor cut me off it. She said

Dual chamber Pacemaker for Tachy-Brady
Follow up on last post - https://healthunlocked.com/afassociation/posts/private/140288052/ep-recommends-av-node-ablation-pacemaker Last week (Thu), I went through the Pacemaker procedure. EP had recommended PM and AVN ablation but considering my age (50), took conscious decision against AVN ablation.

Hey
Iām new here. Iāve had RLS for years and finally got a diagnosis within the last year. I found at one point they only non medical treatment that helped with RLS was marijuana. It is legal in my state. But i still would have to pay out of pocket for it. And I quit smoking almost a year and a half ago

I found a complete cure for RLS
Iāve suffered RLS many years, the only thing that worked was strong analgesics which gave me bad side effects. Iāve tried many many cures and nothing seems to work but I found this by trail and error. It works 100% for me and NO PILLS ! I took some menthol crystals and ground them into very fine powder
