Keppra increases
Started on 250mg. keppra tonight after failing clonodine quickly (leg cramps and increased blood pressure did in that one). 250mg isn't enough, at least tonight, and I am wondering how quickly I should increase. Doc says I can go up to 750mg. and I have a terrible time with tolerating medicines. Any

Buprenorphine vs. hydromorphone or other opioids
So I noticed during and after a recent TKR that the buprenorphine that I take for my RLS interacts with the hydromorphone that my surgeon prescribed for me for pain. Doxazosin
I’m currently on Amlodipine and Ramipril for high blood pressure. I then lost my father and didn’t want to know about what other medications I could try. He wants me to try Doxazosin The prescription is waiting for me at the pharmacy and I am just wondering if it did work for someone? I am not nervous

Latest Bloods - Dr requested a review
An update after my last post in February. Dr put my Levo up by 25mcg, so I have been taking 125mcg per day since the beginning of March. Due to no appts, I’ve eventually got the bloods done that I requested through the GP. They’ve just texted me a routine appt for May, after the Dr has reviewed my results

High Cholesterol
HiI had a thyroid blood test last week. The doctors receptionist rang yesterday to say my Cholesterol was high and the doctor had asked her to ask if I was taking the medication. I was taken aback when she said the doctor would like to speak to me but the earliest phone appointment was in 3 weeks.

losartan and beta blocker
Does anyone else take a beta blocker with their BP meds? I'm on 12.5mg losartan (lowest dose) and the doctor prescribed propranolol as and when to help with my palpitations (could be hormone linked). Reading the pill notes it advises caution with this but the doctor said was ok so i'm not sure what to

How low can you go ? Blood pressure GP policy and general guidance
Hi I have had high blood pressure for over 20 years. At some point in my late 20s (I am now 51), a GP decided I met the criteria for high blood pressure and prescribed medication. For most of the next 20 years I had an annual or semi annual check at the surgery and a blood test every year. They would

Atorvastatin and raised blood sugar
I was on simvastatin 40mg for many years and 2 years ago my Dr changed my medication to 20mg atorvastatin. My blood sugar has increased to the point of needing lifestyle changes. Has anyone noticed the link between statins and diabetes or is it just me?

E.D. with cirrhosis
Do any men here take E.D. medication who have cirrhosis? If so, what meds, what stage cirrhosis? Experience and advice please. Is tadalafil (Cialis) less harsh on the liver than sildenafil (Viagra)? Other options? Of course I won't take anything without being given by my doctor.
