Flu Jab
Hi ladies👋 Just wondering if anyone can help with this.... I need to get a flu jab done but it is near impossible to get an appointment with my doctor. I’ve tried to go to Tesco but they won’t give the flu jab to pregnant ladies and said I had to go to my GP. Does anyone happen to know if there is

Feeling a tad sensitive maybe
But had nightmare trip to nurse for flu jab and blood test yesterday. Was told in no uncertain terms that just (!) being on steroids did not qualify me for a flu jab, when I questioned this she said well, I will check if you like. She rang someone and came off the phone and said ‘there, i was right,

PARANOID
I was in icu the beginning of this year from the flu which got complications double pneumonia and sepsis. In a coma for several days all from the flu I developed ARDS. Now that the flu season is around the corner I do not know if I should get the flu vaccine. In the past I have reactions to it. Also,

Flu Jab reaction
I'm sorry I've not logged on for weeks, I had my flu jab yesterday and feeling terrible this morning, same happened last year, my arm still sore from that one. Is there a better type for PMR patients?

On Sertraline a week now and no better.
On Sertraline 50mg for a week now and feeling numb. I didn't want to even be on these things. My throat is SO SORE, and last night discovered a white spot on my uvula. I can't even take painkillers - my normal Cuprofen which work are out as ibuprofen based. I cannot even cry anymore to let it out

Pneumococcal vaccination
Following on recent discussions about the flu jab, I have been ‘chosen’ to have one of these which are ‘in national short supply’. This is the Prevenar 13 vaccination against bacterium streptococcus pneumonia. A once only jab apparently. Although I don’t wont have the flu jab, this might be of use me

Is this doctor worth keeping...?
I saw my GP yesterday for the annual flu shot, and also had my blood pressure checked. My BP is highish (190/98) and she says she suspect it's because I'm overmedicated. She wants me back on T4 and to be retested in eight weeks. If we cannot get my BP down naturally, she'll want me on drugs. She also

Children’s nasal flu vaccine precautions
Hello all, My dear grandchildren are having their annual nasal flu vaccine soon and I remember reading that those of us who are on pred and immuno suppressed should avoid contact for a while, as it is a live vaccine which can be ‘shed’ due to sneezing for instance. Have been searching for info on how

Anti vaccination irritation!
It's flu jab season and my social media is just covered in utter nonsense from anti vax people, it honestly baffles me. I see so much rubbish about vaccinations being dangerous, quoting all sorts of American info that is just not applicable to us here in the UK, 'sources' of 'research' just totally unreliable
