Fibroscan CAP scores
There are a few things that I don’t understand about Fibroscan CAP scores. I have looked at the NICE 49 full guideline which can be found here: https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance/ng49/evidence/full-guideline-pdf-2548213310 Fibroscan CAP scores are discussed in detail on pages 62 to 74; the CAP scores

Nose sores
Good morning, Can anyone tell me what you do for nose sores. I've had one at the inside tip for weeks. They come and go but when they come they last for weeks. They've been coming more frequently too. I'm at a loss of how to heal this. I was diagnosed with Lupus SLE, Sjogren's and MCTD. Is it

Can Someone be in the normal TSH range but still be suffering from Hypothyroidism
My daughter has been suffering multiple symptoms, reoccurring urology issues, aches and pains, IBS to name but a few. Her GP’s have only ever tested for TSH which has always been in the middle of the range. As I have autoimmune hypothyroidism as well as an autoimmune blood disorder should they be

Drop in resting heart rate since pred
HiI have been on 40mg pred for suspected GCA for2 weeks now. ( actually was 60 in first week then dropped to 40 in second). I had a temporal artery biopsy yesterday so resting up and taking it easy. I wear a fitbit so am aware of my usual resting heart rate. It is normally between 61-65. When asleep

horrible taste in mouth, nothing tastes good
After looking in my mouth, my GP said, I think you have thrush. A dentist had said an X-ray showed no tooth infection was causing the bad taste. GP prescribed nystatin. After taking it the bad taste is worse than ever, especially in the morning, and the area behind my top and bottom teeth feels

QOL gone
Prostatectomy followed 8 months later with ADT and radiation. Mostly incontinent since. Always had overactive bladder before cancer. Urologist did cystoscope and said everything looked normal. Its been > 2 weeks and I am in constant misery. Bladder hurts and have strong feeling of needing to urinate

Confused about how all the different PCa drugs work?
This recent article (Oct 2023) has a nice high level diagram that organizes the more common prostate cancer drugs and their mechanism of action. Scroll down to Figure 1. Crohn’s with a negative test
Hi, Not a member of this particular forum, but I have received such support from the PMRGCA forum, I thought I would ask here for thoughts on Crohn’s on behalf of my husband. He has for many years suffered with symptoms and been tested for everything under the sun! Twice consultants has felt fistulas
